A private company is free to do what ever it wants. They just have to understand who their customers are and why they give them their business. The new leadership at Cracker Barrel clearly doesn't know anything about their customer base and why they come their or they hate all their customers and want to dump all those customers and get new clientele. My guess is the later. Unfortunately the clientele they seek doesn't exist in large numbers nor do they serve the kind food the clientele they seek eats.

I think if there was something to get Trump with, that would have been used before his reelection long ago. The Biden administration had full access to everything. Surely any dirt on Trump would have been immediately leaked.
