The serpent mentioned in Genesis is the symbolic appearance of Satan. Satan takes several form throughout his reign.

The story of Genesis and creation is related to Moses through divine inspiration. Moses wrote the first Five books in the Old Testament . Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.. all divinely inspired by God.

According to Deuteronomy 34:6 the burial location of Moses is a secret and remains unknown to this day. God is described as having buried him in a valley in the land of Moab. Specifically to keep the location hidden from the Israelites.

You are supposed to be explaining how Moses was able to write about his own death and burial.

Why can you not simply admit that he couldn't have and that it was all a later addition.

God revealed to Moses about the future included how his mission would end. It is possible Moses shared it with others like Joshua who came after him to complete Deuteronomy.

I'm sure that it would have been mentioned had this been the case. But there is absolutely no evidence that proves your conjecture. This is exactly what I mean when I say that the bible is full of ambiguous half told stories.

Why cant' you just admit that it was a much later addition and was written by a completely different author?

Joshua 24:26 mentions that Joshua recorded events in the Book of Law of God, supporting the idea that he added to the written record. So it is quite likely that Joshua wrote the final chapter Deuteronomy 34. Which records Moses death and burial.

I assure you Satan knew and knows who, what, and why Jesus is, was, and will be. They are brothers, after all. Satan's purpose in the wilderness was to plant doubt in Jesus regarding who he is. The three temptations Satan offer were power, pride, and possession, in that order. All sins we may commit are also rooted in one or more of these same three basic types, and always, at the root, is the planting of doubt by him, personally, or by his minions that what we believe or know to be true is truth, or is it fantasy?

There is much information the Bible is missing. I am convinced there is much that is missing from what was originally written, whether by innocent misplacement, or deliberate deception, and everything in between. For example, there is no record whatsoever that Mary, mother of Jesus, even met with him after his resurrection.

Stephen admits he did not get enough education in his profile. “Not enough”. He is challenged by basic reading comprehension and repeatedly asks the same question because he lacks comprehension skills to grasp the answers given.

He is not a practicing Christian so he has fallen even further behind. Help him to accept Jesus and be saved.

Stephen and I have had our ups and downs, but, on the whole, I appreciate his challenges to me. Sometimes, he argues a point I'd not considered, and I always like the challenge to rethink my thinking from a different perspective. Stephen offers that. But your accusation that he admits not getting enough education is not how I read his profile. I think I understand what he's saying; not that his education has been insufficient, and I have no idea, but I've grown to appreciate his point of view and he expresses it well. I think he's saying that given the time we have to address being educated, it's getting shorter and shorter with each passing year and there is so much yet to learn. Stephen is retired, so am I. so we're not nearly as young as you are. He deserves an apology from you.

By the way, I know many Christians who don't know their stuff as well as Stephen does. He knows how to research, and. of late, doing a much better job of finding inconsistencies in scripture. The Bible is not infallible. period. That he's willing to do the research is admirable. I can accept the Bible anyway, but Stephen, at present, cannot. At least he's willing to say it. That's not ignorance.

Stephen questions the fundamentals of the Bible. Why did Jesus come in the flesh? Why did Jesus have to be sacrificed? Why are there more than one god? These questions have already been answered in the Bible. But he refuses to accept its answer. Rejecting the Bible is to reject God.

The only clue we have that he us under Satan’s spell is his confession that he is a non practicing Christian and more eduction is required by him. But by rejecting the Bible he is not helping his condition. He is doing Satan’s work.

Who made you judge? I'm willing to allow Stephen to continue an education, which he acknowledges in profile, and I agree with the position. What more do you want?

That he acknowledges being a non-Christian in the same profile is merely stating a current position, and not a conclusive end-game. It may stay that way; it may change, but that is entirely up to Stephen, and neither of us ought to draw conclusions now. The way I see it, he has an open Bible on the shelf or on the desk from which he is drawing conclusions. I don't agree with all of them, but that's me, and that's him. So be it. How is that a Satan thing?

Based on Christian Theology , the influence of Satan is often described as an attempt to cause people to doubt, disregard, or twist the teachings of the Bible. This influence is not typically seen as a physical force, but rather through deception , intellectual doubt, and the promotion of opposing worldviews.

This can all be seen in how he creates doubt by twisting the Bible.

Stephen was addressing his questions to me. I referred him to the Bible verses that dealt with those issues. But when he kept ignoring the Bible verses and repeating his questions despite them being answered by me. I knew Satan was clouding his mind.

2 Corinthians 4:4 the god of this age Satan has blinded the minds of unbelievers so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ.

nevertheless, what is in one’s mind is never ours to judge, because we neither know another’s motivation nor experience unless it is revealed by them, and even then, to judge that one is possesses by Satan can only be by revelation from God, or by direct communication to us by Satan

How do we know Satan is speaking through Stephen without the need to judge him?

satan talking through someone is generally identified through the content , character and consequence of their words.

The most common test is whether the message aligns with the Bible. If a persons words encourages disobedience to God or contradicts established scripture (Eg. Denying Jesus or promoting sin or promoting ignorance. It is viewed as deceptive influence.

Emotional impacts: Deception, distraction, discouragement .

Stirring up conflict, division, fear, self exaltation over humility.

There are specific Bible verses that addresses disconcernment or how to protect yourself from negative spiritual influences. I can email you those verses.

I totally agree. Hence my often referencing to the many ambiguous half told stories in the bible- the New Testament in particular,.

For example, there is no record whatsoever that Mary, mother of Jesus, even met with him after his resurrection.

But there are references to Jesus rejecting his mother and refusing to see her before his torturous death.. She may have given him good reason when we read that she and other family members thought he was mentally ill.

The last contact with both his parents-we are told was when they negligently lost her holy charge; a gift from god too!. Although it is written that his mum turned up at the foot of cross when he died, but then again it is also written that the women were looking over a garden wall from afar at him hanging on the cross? Marvellous: the authors do not seem to agree on too much, do they? They even disagree on the date of the crucifixion too!!!?

Nice. So lets see the context in what I was admitting, shall we.

🧾 Personal information

EducationNever enough

This is not to admit that I am uneducated or lack speciality of further education. It simply my belief that one can never have enough education and that we never stop learning.

I can see that I am going to have to keep repeating this for the thick and ignorant that seem to be of the belief that I am as thick and ignorant as they themselves are.

You prove again you did not receive enough education and that includes knowledge of the Bible.

In your post #57 you said, “there are references to Jesus rejecting his mother and refusing to see her before his torturous death. That is a total lie.

According to the Gospel of John 19:25-27 Jesus saw his mother Mary , while he was on the cross, during his crucifixion. Amidst his agony, he entrusted her care to the disciple “whom he loved “(John) saying, “Woman, behold, your son”, and to the disciple, “behold your mother”.

Stephen questions the fundamentals of the Bible. [A]Why did Jesus come in the flesh?[B] Why did Jesus have to be sacrificed? [C] Why are there more than one god?

You can't even read my questions correctly. Is it any wonder that you cannot answer them!?

I actually asked :

[A]Why Do Christians Believe God Became Flesh?

And :[B] Why did god demand a blood sacrifice?

And: [C]One God? It is simply Not True

So you see you absolute ignorant clown, that it has been you all along that suffers from a reading deficiency.

You prove again you did not receive enough education and that includes knowledge of the Bible.

I can never get enough education on my favourite subject (religion. The NT in particular). And regardless how little you believe that is, it appears that I still have much more than you.

In your post #57 you said, “there are references to Jesus rejecting his mother and refusing to see her before his torturous death. That is a total lie.

You are doing it again. Its not a lie. I am hardly going to claim something from the bible that isn't in the bible. I leave that sort of bible rewriting to absolute bible dummies such as yourself.

I think that you just want to learn from me the things that I have painstakingly learned for myself for over 4 + decades.

Off you go now, stupid.
