The theme is Ted Lasso, a show on apple TV that I recently fell in love with. Its a heart warming comedy that probably has made me, a grown man, cry more than any other show or movie in history. I loved the show so much I binged all three seasons in 1 week. This game is going to be an open set up and mafia will not receive character claims, only one hint for a role claim. My main reasoning here is that it's very easy to have a thought of "This day is quiet, that sucks" and say that out loud, but it's another thing to actually do something about it and push game into a different state. And knowing that I'm Town, pushing the game out of the state of "idk Ceru is policy chop" is a townsided move.
It's admittedly a bit self-centered, but there's not a whole lot to go off beyond that at the moment.

Actually saying that you guy is a criminal is a good soft claim and narrows down quite a bit of the theme in this. I can easily eliminate half of my list of potential characters if you were to soft this.

Another thing is that there are a lot of characters in this game that would make sense as a miller or miller type role lmao
I can think of one right off the top but I won’t say it obviously because it’s a good chance that person is actually ceru

My soft is that my character is on the list I provided. I recommend we all soft a different way, I think scum have in general caught on to the "type claiming" meta where people claim male/female, DOB, etc. Maybe we all do something different.

I was thinking about that. I’ll have to think harder because the protagonist here is kind of a bad guy and the “villain” of the first season is Janice Moss who is after him but she’s not really a bad person she’s just counter to the protagonist. I could see Barry being scum, but I do doubt that here based on things in my role PM but I could be mistakenly understanding something.
It could be like Checyens vs everyone else or Bolivians vs Chechen’s or Barry vs actors or actors plethora of things. Will need a scum flip before I can really cook with this

Sally Reed (Barry's love interest/ girlfriend)
Monroe Fuches (Barrys original mentor)
Janice Moss (Detective. She is only in season 1, but she is a huge catalyst for Barry's character development, and has such an impact on the show it would be surprising if she wasn't in it)
Gene Cosineau (Barry's acting coach who impacts him majorly and ends up becoming a huge part of the show)
NoHo Hank (Funniest character in the show by far, Gay Russian mob dude with tons of personality)
Christobal Sifuentes (Bolivian Crime lord, and lover to NoHo Hank)
Characters that might be in the game:
Goran Pazar (He is mostly big in season 1)
Mayrbeck (Has a pretty significant role in season 2 that I could see making whiteflame want to put him in the game)
Chris lucado (Former marine friend of Barry's. Not in a lot of episodes but also has a pretty big impact on Barry's character development and repercussions from something that happens with him occur in later seasons).
There are a lot more side characters and one or two could be in the game, but these characters are ones that stood out to me personally watching the show.
I had hoped we would one day be scummates since I knew you have a reputation for taking wild risks. It happened very soon after, in Suikoden. We remember how that panned out.

This is impossible. I mean even if no one is asking for claims, if you suspect someone purely on behavior and try to push their lynch, gather support for it, put the guy at l-1, they are going to claim to try and save themselves. Which they probably should. I mean if they are the cop or something we aren't going to lynch them right? But I get the sentiment about people claiming frivolously, which tends to be a running theme on this site.
