VTL Magoroth. Why would you claim that DP1 if you want to win with town? You could have kept your trap shut and eaten a NK for town. Your role has like no utility now and you are likely to make it to endgame if we let you live, where you can stab us in the back to win with scum.

I was shocked to see capital letters in my role PM, I do admit.

I agree that Luna had very good reads. I was shocked by Wryly's flip after that claim. Before that I was running on a Luna/Pie scum team but that really made me reassess my reads and the game as a whole in NP2. As far as the setup went, I feel like the scum team did get a bit caged in towards the end, but this game was an example of mass claiming and lying both working out in town's favor.

Shining was guaranteed town though. Why would wryly put her scummate in a fake carol with Pie and I? And he sent that message to you. And he said he wouldn't move tonight. And Wylted was the juicy lynch target.

I bought it cause I don't think scum would invent and claim a role that would instantly make everyone want to lynch them. Wryly is behaviorally good as mafia but I feel like fake claiming is an art that comes with practice.

Like if the carol had me, wylted, and another player that's the game. If it has one of me, wylted, or shining and two other players scum are between them.

The extra result was pretty much a guaranteed win for us because with the mass claim I knew exactly who to target and with the POE we had another carol would basically insta-solve the game by narrowing scum down to two or even one players.

I figured if I outed they would kill me. I wanted to get another result off because I wasn't 100% on wryly being town (I pretended to be so she would think I was in her corner and they might not kill me if she was scum, but we ended up lynching her anyway).

It is Ultra. I'm ascetic+caroler. The justification is that I'm out in lala land and nobody could reach me in my two DART games. Ascetic is probably meant to stop wryly from neutering town completely with her ability.

I think it has to be Magoroth. MAYBE it could be Pie, they only needed two mislynches from the last carol and scum pie could have mislynched Shining and I. A strong scum player could survive a carol cagematch.

Wryly's Carol can't be trusted. When I send someone a carol, if scum receives it they don't actually revive a carol, just a notification that they are caroled. It is necessarily made up. It does reveal a lot though as scum would lie about the carol in specific ways. That's why I was pretty sure you were town, forcing a showdown between Pie, me and you would likely result in your lynch. She wouldn't do that to her scum partner.

I don't think there is one. We gotta lynch Wryly.

Its true that outing wryly's role opens a can of worms. Worse, if scum have two active roles and an NK they could take out three players. I town read her even more now but it might be necessary to lynch her today.

Why are we pretending like there isn't a possibility that a town caroler lied about their claim? I mean if they get one more carol off its pretty much a guaranteed win. If they claim they will 100% be either fucked with or killed. Entertaining the idea of a scum caroler or of a 3p caroler in a 9 player game is retarded. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, and I would be scum reading the players doing this if they weren't town confirmed. It also makes zero sense for Wryly to make up a carol result. Like this is all painfully obvious? What am I missing? I say just lynch Pie and its a guaranteed town win. We narrow scum in the first carol to me or Shining (or Wryly if she's lying) if Pie somehow flips inno and we hopefully have a second carol to solve the game next DP.

I feel like town Pie would be trying to lynch me right now because in his mind it should be between me and Shining. Instead he seems to be looking for a way out of the carol.

One last thing, I do find it odd that Pie isn't calling out my claim as scummy. Its like he doesn't want to call attention to the fact that his claim is also scummy.

Did Thoth say that its guaranteed that only ONE scum is in the Carol, or could multiple scum be in there?

If they're a 1x I agree. If not I'd honestly prefer the Caroler lie to try and get another result off. I honestly don't see Wryly as scum fake accidentally hammering someone and then making up a Caroler that doesn't exist. She seems incredibly neurotic and stressed out about being scum and played it safe when she was TP.
