In fact, if you aren't getting 9 to 10 hours of sleep, your brain loses performance, and also, waking up early in morning usually causes person to have less than 8 hours of sleep because waking up early in morning isn't natural and you can't effectively fall asleep in time to get 8 hours of sleep, and 8 hours are considered insufficient.
Further, due to 8 to 9 hours work, person becomes unable to drink enough water. Because you are supposed to drink water every hour, work makes that difficult.
AI will solve this by taking all jobs hopefully, so humanity has free time to improve instead of making lizard bosses richer.
