Just because the majority knows doesn't mean they can coordinate
If majority knows who best candidate is, they can vote for him. Nothing prevents them. In fact, there are even surveys on what majority thinks best candidate is, before elections. Usually a lot of surveys are done.
So people might only go for well known candidates because they're afraid of splitting the vote on minor ones, and hence minor candidates who are better than the existing ones don't ever get a fair chance
This argument depends on assumption that majority even knows who is best candidate to vote for. If they know, what you are saying wont be true because majority will vote for best candidates. And if they don't know, then really, no voting system is better than random guessing.
The country needs someone to negotiate on its behalf in geopolitical affairs, with the ability to back up what they say
Of course, a council can pick someone and instruct him, or negotiate directly.

My best form of democracy is rule of council of 999 members.
No presidents, no nonsense campaigns.
People just vote, and the top 999 of those who get votes become members of council.
This is more efficient, because each member of council has equal powers.
Of course, I would prefer a rule of council without democracy, where council elects its own members like in Star Wars.
I can say for sure IQ doesn't matter much.
I have met many above 140 IQ people who are complete retards and can't even function on a daily level, and are depressed all the time.
There is not much benefit in high IQ. It's actually more of a burden, forces people to think about 1000 things each day, while average person just relaxes.
High IQ is only beneficial for some people who know how to ride on high IQ without burning out their brains while at it.

Photoshop has existed for a long time
When it comes to photoshop, it requires skill.
In order to add something to image, you must first make layer of object by precisely deleting everything around object.
then you can add object to image.
But even then, different shading or ratio can expose photoshop, so some skill is needed to cover shades too and make object blend in image.
With AI, just about any loser can make anything of anyone. No skill or much time needed.
AI even enabled making of videos, which without AI would take much longer to make and would require insane skills and much more material than just 1 photo.
In simple terms, before AI, what would take an expert in editing months or years to do, after AI, any retard can do in few minutes.
Maybe some people are okay with putting their face out there so anyone can do with it as they please, and for most people, nothing too bad will happen. But some women were devastated once they learned they are actually acting in realistic AI made porn and they cant prove it wasnt them in porn because AI made it too realistic.
So just remember, posting your face online essentially means anyone can make porn out of you. Well, men probably dont have to be as concerned, unless on important positions of power.

If you post your face online, pretty much anyone today can use your face in videos or photos.
In the past, using image editing software, person could add layers of pretty much anything on your image.
Because image editing allows for anyone to cut out object from one image and paste it in another image.
So anyone can put anything next to your face in image.
But with development of AI, it isnt even necessary to have the skills anymore.
Mr Beast learned this. Recently, there have been a bunch of videos where Mr Beast promotes scams. Mr Beast actually doesnt promote those scams, but AI made video of him doing it.
And video was so realistic that many people believed it.
So yeah, posting your face online means giving permission to anyone to do anything with it. Your face could be edited next to a hot woman, which could cause problems in personal life. Or it could be edited next to some bad person, causing more problems. Or, as some women learned, it could be even used in fake porn.
the only reason why people feel safe posting their face online is that so many people do it, and amount of those getting harmed by it is very low compared to amount of those who post their face.
Still, logically, posting your face online doesnt benefit you, unless you are hot and seeking a girlfriend.
Year 2026 and 2027 is predicted to be AI deepfake chaos, because it gets increasingly more difficult to tell what is made by AI.

Recently, I learned of specific method to improve health. You probably heard of cold showers being beneficial for health.
