Oh welp maybe the innocent child can claim whenever they want with this mod

Pretty sure IC can claim anytime they want
I think the window depends on the mod.

Scummy because it seems similar to innocent child? Not following. That is one of the only roles that activates at a certain day. Would not put it past pie to do custom roles but there are heavy similarities.
Scummy to needlessly draw attention to the possibility.

I am mildly townslipreading this since the OP says that scum are given questions rather than handed fake-claims on an Ag platter.

Wf seems like hes enjoying this theme. Gut check is hes excited to have it because of hos profession and that feels good
Ah, yes, the oldest profession.
Initial impression is I wonder if this is a creative way to do innocent child since it's triggered by a specific day
This is scummier than the green things floating on top of my neighbor's backyard pool, but I can only call that scumread WIFOM since you are good enough at Mafia to know that.

Kohai said there was some reason why it needed a colon. I bet a few minutes with a large language model would be enough to fix that.

Again, I was not told whether it's positive or negative utility or even a mix, and I was not given any advice on how to play with my role or hints as to what it does. I'm operating under, "better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it", lest I turn out to be PGO or Hated or Miller or something.

@Thoth, are you able to extract an answer of Pie here? As in, does your role activate DP4, or is it revealed DP4 and has been active since Dp1?
I already asked. Pie said he could not tell me when it activates.

What are these roles?
“Loyal” is a modifier that prevents a role’s ability from being used on those of a different alignment. Basically, a Loyal PR that targets someone roleblocks themself if that target isn’t the same alignment.
Simple means it can only target Vanilla.
Traitor is Lost Wolf
So the Mafia had an extra kill which they could only use on another Mafioso? Did they know about their ability modifiers? Was the Doctor compulsive?

So my challenge this game is that I can't use flavor at all
Good choice. I wouldn't taste-test arsenic either.

Its more exercises to improve than thinking I am good. Forcing myself to work with limitations makes me do things differently and grow.
I played this game once at a board game night. It is a game where you look at cards that are drawn from the top of a deck, and, with just words that have just one word sound, have to help the guy on your team guess the word on your card. You get one point if they guess right, and two more points if you choose to read the next word on the card. All the guys at that board game night were shocked that I could read like that with no need to slow down or stop or speak in a way that did not break a rule of how to match one word with the rest of the words. I can talk like this all the time, and I can type like this too. It is not hard for me. I like it. In a weird way, it frees me up to think on just what the words mean. The book that tells you how to play the game says there should be a soft club filled with air, which is to be held by a guy not on your team, and with which they may bop you if you say a word that has more than one word sound, but we did not have such a club, which was a shame.

It's still ambiguous to me if your role is active right now, or if you only receive a role at DP4
It's ambiguous to me too. I asked Pie if my ability is already extant, and he said he could not tell me. I say 'extant' because 'active' can also mean the opposite of passive.

I was about to ask you what your profile picture is, but then I realized that I have a Waterfox extension which lets me reverse image search from the context menu. Y'all should get one for your browser. It's a great quality-of-life upgrade.

I've gotten a terrible gutread on Magoroth so far. There's nothing concrete to back it. Just an unease with how he's phrased certain things. Listen to me or don't, I don't care either way.

Magoroth wrote:
Are you allowed to submit night actions? Just to make everything clearer for me, your ability, if it exists, is NOT targeted, correct?
It might be targeted, but if it is then I can't choose the targets. (I asked Pie about this, it was not in my PM, whicH also leads me to thinking that it's passive)

If there are 3 scum players (as balance would suggest there are) and we lynch them all back-to-back, we never reach DP4. I'd call that extremely unlikely, but no, it's not guaranteed we reach DP4.
10-3 strikes me as townsided. Are you thinking 9-3-1?

So this is why you decided to claim?
Yes, basically
So let me get this straight. You have a 100% unambiguous confirmation that you have no night action?
No
For my benefit, could you summarise everything you know about your role?
Beat you to it
Thoth · 4 months ago
But if it's active then I don't choose the target. I'm pretty sure it's passive since having an active ability that I don't choose targets for seems weird, but I can't prove it.

whiteflame wrote:
Also also, are you saying that your role is currently active and that you'll learn what it is by DP4 or that it will activate by DP4?
I have a role that was determined before the game started. I will learn what that role is at the start of DP4. This role has at least one ability. These abilit(y/ies) may be active or passive. It might be active now or it might not be. Pie won't tell me anything else about my abilit(y/ies) until DP4 starts. That's what I got between reading my PM and interrogating Pie.
Thoth · 4 months ago
It's weird that that's so delayed, but in a game with this many players, reaching DP4 is pretty likely.
It's guaranteed unless there are serious multi-kills.

I don’t think speculating about theme splits will be productive until we see at least one flip, maybe more than one. There are too many plausible ones.
