Well, most roles shouldn’t claim but these roles if claimed by someone who is about to be lynched will not look great for them. So it’s better if they claim now.
Especially that Saint thing which would instantly lose us the game if they get lynched
i dont disagree, just thought it was funny. anyways the only real utility to not having outsiders claim is maybe semi confirmation? there is less outsider roles to pull from in the list, so more than 1-2 those would probably be something to be suspicious of. if only like one person claims outsider tho, well its not "confirmed" but its pretty close to it. i think mafia claiming an outsider would be risky

i was just about to say this. asked thoth and he said they dont start in a pm together. the demon knows the minions, the minions know the demon, the minions do not know each other tho. it would be beneficial for them to be in a pm together. so we might need to look at ppl trying to create chats for weird reasons.
its possible, but thats kind of an odd assumptun that pre game info would be messed with. not discounting it, but from the phrasing of the host it sounds like something that will impact investigations in the course of the game. but im open to that applying to pre game roles 2

Poisoning is a night ability, I don’t think it has to be any one of us tho it could be anyone in the game.

we can just be careful about taking results 2 seriously then, sounds like there is a lot of stuff that can mess with info
to add to that the op says that the host will do that to influence the game based on whose winning/losing, and its too early for him to have any reason to do that.

I think it’s borderline OP to have both Banana and Shining’s roles in the game. One of them is probably drunk I’d say. Or lying
is drunk and poisoning a pre game ability or night ability? bcuz if not pregrame it would have to be one of me you and shining who did the drunkening, assuming its something that can just be used at any time in the day phase

We ALL start chats with whoever we are sure is Town, only two people per chat (three including Thoth, I guess). Then everyone claims their role privately to that person.
We don’t need scum knowing what roles are in the game. If necessary we can pressure people by forcing them to publicly claim
i agree with that plan. in my case of my role i dont think holding that info really hurt anyone since it didnt indicate a single person

no but in mafia the first thing ppl say when u claim early is "why did u claim so fast". im telling u why, cuz there is no reason not to with this role.
so im not familiar with this game. i have information tho and i dont see any reason not to tell it. im a chef, and i was told there is only one pair of evil players. i dont think there is any more utility to my role here so i dont see saying this publicly as a big risk

Banana came in clutch in the final DP, and the fact that she got minimal pushback for probably the scummiest town role I have ever designed was testament to how good her play was. I was fully expecting Wryly to win this one because Thoth had set himself up as such a perfect target due to his waffling on lynching Wylted DP2 while Wryly's vote was on him early. Banana put in the work to see through that. Great play, especially given the fact that she was coming back from several rounds of inactivity and replaced in halfway through.

Sure, but after wylted's flip it would've been transparent. Thought it was better to try to create a fog of uncertainty.
definitely was better for me in reading u. not sure how Thoth would have taken it tho. I expected u to claim a result on me in entry and it be a 1 v 1 with u. I was surprised when that didn’t happen and it made me think u were actually town
