Vader - Town pile. Again seems to be cross-verified by Mag2c nee Mikal nee Casey. Mikal saw someone visiting Pie and Vader would have visited Pie when he redirected. This may be the strongest verification on anything we have so far, and would be undermined only by Mag2c and Vader being scummates, which I don't see. "We will not be lynching Vader" is not something you say about your scummate.

See here’s the thing: there’s no guarantee that he redirected Mikal to Mharman1. What if he never redirected Mikal? What if he redirected me to Mikal? Cause Supa claimed AFTER Mikal said he Inspected me. That would give the exact same result.

Wouldn’t it be better for the role cop to target wf and verify ascetic claim?

Target isn’t lynched (6/7)

Scum not killing the person who gets the rolecop (5/6)

Thats a 30/42 chance or 71.4% chance that a townie gets the rolecop off.

If scum kill me, it’s even better cause it reduces your POE.

1. I don’t think scum Vader ever openly claims to be a redirector. Remember the last time he was scum and he fake claimed absorber? The pint is that redirector draws too much attention to him and doubt he would do it as scum

I asked Thoth about this. He told me that while he thinks he did mention custom roles to you in a discussion a few months ago, it was before he ever thought of the Madoka theme. He did not confirm to me that custom roles are in this game in particular. So your reason for eliminating Rex from POE doesn't hold up. 

He definitely mentioned it to me in DMs. Yes the discussion was before he probably made the game but it was a pretty important factor. This whole game has custom mechanics. It’s not that far fetched. Actually it’s more likely than not that there is a custom role.

So it sounds like your FOS on Vader really comes down to this Redirector and whether it's too much complication for Thoth. I feel like that's pretty open to argument. Balance and modding are where I'm weakest so I will grant that I don't have the best perspective on this, but Thoth has already put in a recruitment mechanic, hidden abilities, and a risen witch mechanic. Look how many roles he's willing to juggle. Is a Redirector + Doctor + Ascetic really too much sweat for him.

I think a Redirector + Ascetic is. Behaviorally Supa is also different. I also don’t see a reason for a Redirector in the game.

Let me flip this on you: what are the exact reasons you townread Supa?

The redirect fails and the doctor protects tbe original target. Not that much of a headache.

So what’s the point of a redirector if it’s likely to fail 33% of the time on NP1 and the percentage going up in subsequent NPs

I actually asked the question on what happens if a redirector targets an ascetic. He stated the redirect would fall.

Well that makes sense but turn the question around. What if a Redirector redirects the Doctor to an Ascetic. That’s a more ambiguous question especially if the Redirector visits 2 targets. Why would a mod want to deal with?

Mharman2 likely isn’t OG scum because balance wise originally it makes sense to have a weak investigative role

That leaves Whiteflame and Vader. I already explained the issue with their roles. Let’s say Vader redirected the Doctor (Mharman1) to Whiteflame. What is the mod supposed to do? We know that the redirect counts as two visits according to the mod. Why deal with that headache? Vader’s justification is also rather weak compared to what’s been claimed so far.

Pie - Uncertain. Kind of suspicious that he's coming after Vader all the sudden, really triggering my paranoia that Vader is scum's randomly chosen target this DP. Not sure what to make of Pie's reluctance to role claim but kind of encouraged by his invitation to be rolecopped. Either he's on the up and up or scum have gotten a power which can fuck with rolecop.

He and WF are the top candidates for OG scum. If we can’t agree on OG scum, then Kohai is likely scum recruit and is in everyone’s scum pile

I really detest that he's waiting until day 4 to claim. I admit that I'm always paranoid of pie, but this really rubs me the wrong way. The issue I have here is that he stated hew anted to be rolecopped and there's no role cop in the game that can possibly investigate.

Did you not read the mod note? If scum lynch a certain townie, they get the option of a roleblock or rolecop. If that person isn’t lynched, a townie gets the same abilities. I’m saying that as long as I’m rolecopped tomorrow, the game should be solvable. Odds are that we don’t lynch the target so a townie gets the rolecop. Easy.

He also admited he had no way to mod confirm themself. I honestly have pie as my strongest OG claim for refusing to claim until day 4 and admitting that there's nothing he has to confirm himself.

No one here is mod confirmed. Whiteflame isnt. Vader isn’t. REF isn’t. It’s in everyone’s best interests that I don’t claim today.

I initially hard town read this slot because he stated he had a hidden ability that wasn't used and this was confirmed by the day 2 OP and no one counter-claimed. I'm honestly not sure how I feel about Vader.

This is very much a hard town read. Contract cop makes sense and pie claimed Thoth stated there was a custom role. This is basically the only role that I see as custom with maybe the exception of my role. In addition post #373 in d2 is literally the towniest thing I've ever read. Conclusion: Definitely not original scum
