3) Shining claimed a Scarlet Empire character

I just got word back. Red says a poison victim would still be alive the following DP so probably just a coincidence with the NK

I guess you are catching up. I poisoned him but I was told he wouldn't die until the following NP so unless scum coincidentally killed him I think his death is temporary unless we decide I don't use my healing ability 

So if you choose to heal him, does he magically show up right now?

Shining came across to me very scummy and I poisoned him. I am told the poison kills him this np unless I choose to heal him which I can decide to do. My plan going into this DP was to use the poison as a type of ace hanging over his head so I could unilaterally decide for town to apply extreme pressure. However I thought he would still be able to post in the DP and all that so it looks like my plan can't be carried out, so we need to discuss whether I should heal him or not.

If we can’t commit to that then we just need to nip it in the butt now, but we set a bad precedent for third parties being willing to work with the town in future games

They don’t have a reason to work exclusively with town. If a TP gets outted, we are forced to lynch them period. I’m not taking a chance on someone’s goodwill. If they want to out themselves and help town, I will reconsider. But here:

1) He didn’t SOP claim

2) He shot just cause someone told him to

3) He shot to prove his “role”

4) He didn’t wait for a claim from Mharman

5) He’s blaming us for shooting a townie

6) You really think Mikal’s bullying tactics would work on WF

7) He doesn’t care at this point

8) We have no reason to believe he would support us down the line

That doesn’t mean anything. If he wanted to help town, he would ask for claims, etc.. Not just blindly shoot. It’s cause he doesn’t give two shits about it. I agree with this, but Mikal said he thought WF was bluffing. Anyways, it’s partially Mharman’s fault too for being a retard.

Also, I’m confused why WF didn’t just claim Day Vig instead of TP Survivor. There’s something he’s clearly not telling us.

Bottomline is no more character claims or hints or anything of that nature. We need to make a decision on whether to lynch WF today or not.

I am in favor. He provides nothing to town right now and we’ll be forced to lynch him down the line anyways.

Toran is scum but what David is heavily implying is that the game is written as the game starts. There are people who start as empire and end up with toran. But I’m pretty sure based on everything he is hinting that there are some

like tir is leader of the toran but if skep is writing this from the start of the game. Tir could be scarlet.

So again, why do you need to know his character. If this is your theory, then just list the names of characters this would apply to and we will sus them down the line

We have to waste a lynch on him anyways. You can’t get an extra lynch mathematically speaking. He’s proven to be unreliable.

In a 13p game, let’s say it’s 10-2-1. Right now it’s 9-2-1. With a lynch of the TP and NK, it will be 8-2. 6-2. 4-2 MYLO. Also consider that if there’s a Yakuza, a lynch on WF as TP would make it simply 9-2 tomorrow and we get 4 lynches.

Let’s say we don’t lynch the TP and No Lynch. It will be 8-2-1. Then 6-2-1. Then 4-2-1 (here we are forced to lynch WF or scum). Only 3 lynches possible (1 has to be on WF).

Let’s say there is a Yakuza. It’s 9-2-1. 7-2-1. 5-2-1 (here we are forced to lynch WF).

I guess it really depends on if we think there’s a Yakuza or not. But imo it better to get rid of WF here and avoid the unnecessary chaos we would get if he stays alive

It’s less about him being in the town pile and more that 2 characters that are leaders of toran could claim and get mislynched

With the TP and recruiting mechanic, I would argue that it’s 2 scum (one has probably a Yakuza type role) and then the TP.

that shot was effectively the lynch and wf cannot be recruited. We can lynch him toward the end of the game and it gives us more info about scum tomorrow based on results so when we do shoot it matters.

Did he say he can’t be recruited? I must’ve missed that. Regardless, he needs to be lynched at some point in the game. What difference does it make if it’s now vs later. Right now we are lynching on our terms. Who tf knows what will happen tomorrow

Scum read:

Pie/thoth- I am suspicious of these two for a similar reason, though they are doing it seperate from each other. I feel like they are trying to break up the town bloc. I have noticed pie questioning every town read on mikal from the get go, and thoth has been pretty hesitant to townread mikal either. Its especially weird from pie because I feel like hes the town bloc guy and wouldn't be this opposed to accepting people as town, and for thoth its weird when you look at some of the questions he's asking and I don't really see town motive behind some of his questions. These aren't major scum reads yet, just developing. I am looking at these individuals, but I do not want claims from them and think we should maybe look at them further next day phase. 

Oddly enough, I scumread Thoth right now too for all his back and forth. He’s flip flopped like 10 times now. As for me breaking town piles, I’d say that’s an incorrect assumption. Mikal is the one guy who if he’s scum, we’re all probably fucked. I’m trying to dot the i’s and cross the t’s before I feel fully comfortable with him. That’s why I’m asking why he townreads so and so. The devil’s in the details. It’s basically why I knew he was scum after REF flipped town in your game. Based on vibes right now, I’d say that he’s town though, same with David. Max is probably town but I always hate Millers.

Why do you care if he’s in your town pile? Getting more info only benefits scum
