For what it's worth, Alyssa did not butcher her claim. Everything about the fake claim was good except for the supposed waiving of her night action.

But I'm sure as soon as he got home from work, he took his belt off and went to town on Thoth and Alyssa in the scum chat. But by then the damage was already done and there was nothing to do but bus at that point. Judging from the flip, Alyssa's death wasn't even much of a tragedy for scum and had a silver lining.
