Anyways, when I flip, follow the strategy that I laid out. Everyone should claim cause it will be MYLO, and then hunt out the original scum depending on the NK. I think it’s solvable

Jokes aside, I think this day phase is now old enough that I can legally flip it on its back and raw-dog it.

I am Dani Acosta, Methodical Cop. Justification is that Dani Acosta is methodical and a cop. I submitted a list of players before the end of day 1. Each night, I cop the highest player on the list, skipping dead players, including anyone who dies that night.

I would rather not post my list to stop scum from interfering on the off chance I survive this day phase, but Pie was my first choice and I got a guilty result on him last night. Any defenses I made of him or suggestions we move to someone else were reaction tests.

I was the obvious frame target lol. Retarded selection on your part. Wryly, I get cause she’s a noob, but you’ve played forever. You never investigate the scummiest person.

Okay, that means he was telling the truth about having a confirmable role, which explains the NK.
You're waiting for me to answer your question and then agreeing with me about this very obvious game fact, as though I am the authority on how Mafia works? This is so out-of-character for you that it's painful.

Im indulging you. I’ve already said I think it’s irrelevant whether it was a Tailor or not. My strategy is proven to work with a Yakuza (even thought it was a Tailored Yakuza)

How is a strategy proven when the game in question didn’t have a real yakuza lol

We didn’t know there was a Tailor until endgame. We took the Yakuza as gospel. Never even considered Tailor. Same thing here. And it was proven. We had WF/Mikal, but Kohai threw

And yes I assume so, if the Tailor showed them the role first, but, again, asking that as a question instead of stating it in a condescending way like we should have figured it out first isn't like you.

Im asking you to explain your thought process. I already said I think it’s irrelevant and a distraction, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to ignore you. I’m still on the chopping block anyways. Not going to actively alienate anyone. Working towards a consensus

Yakuza technically is confirmable by using it and flipping lol

But you’re saying if scum had a Tailor, then Kohai was Town right?
I think that goes without saying.

Okay, that means he was telling the truth about having a confirmable role, which explains the NK. Question is which one. If they were Tailoring, wouldn’t they want to take a role from someone who hadn’t soft claimed or anything

In that scenario though, Kohai would’ve been Town, which theoretically is possible? He claimed a confirmable role, which Mikal is the only one who has. I guess if they wanted to manipulate just like Mikal/WF, then it’s possible
That's pretty easily explainable. Claiming a confirmable role in day 1 as scum is a free pass to live long enough to Yakuzate someone.

Im confused. That just means he’s more than likely Yakuza

ILikePie5

I dont think Mago as OG scum claims what he claimed. He’s either converted scum or town. That leaves

Thoth

Wylted

Mikal

Mag1c

ILikePie5

If you want to know my honest thoughts though, the whole discussion of a Tailor is a diversion. It doesn’t matter if he was Tailored or not. My strategy worked in that Alien game regardless of whether there was an actual yakuza or not

The suggestion of a Tailored Yakuza like in Alien Mafia is interesting. It crossed my mind earlier, but I didn't really consider it because I don't think Banana would subject us to a Tailor. That could change if I knew someone else helped her build this game.

I think its prob pie or luna. Kohai could have just yeeted himself cus pie would shit talk him the entire game

Using Yakuza on me is suicide. It’s a waste of a Yakuza at that point because i was literally on the chopping block.

A question I want everyone to answer. If you were Kohai's scummate, who would you have Yakuzaed and why?

I might change my answer after more rereading, but I probably would have gone either Pie because he is a strong player and his push on me would have made WIFOMable distance, or Magoroth because I think he's a good player and I like him personally. Probably not Lunatic because his defense of me would look like buddying. Not Casey since I would never recruit an inactive without an extremely specific reason, unless I knew someone would sub for them.

I would’ve gone Luna/Mag1c based on people townreading them. Mikal cause he was replacement. Thoth cause he hinted at PR. Wylted cause he hinted Dreamer and that wouldn’t have been fun. Probably would’ve avoided Mago cause there was some sus there

So how does the voting piece work? If scum hammers you they basically out themselves?
Yes

Whats the name of the role. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it before

But mags justification checks out and that would be a bold claim as scum. Also wording

We're scum given fake claims ?

They were given 2 options:

1) 2 fake characters

2) 4 questions to ask about roles and characters

ANYWAY. My claim.

I am the leader of “Colony”. I am female, I will look up my character’s name on request, I can’t be arsed to do it right now.
People come to me for advice

I have the unique ability that, if I die to a nightkill, or if I get voted, if the person who killed me is a member of the Mafia, all votes the following day are anonymous, meaning people have to vote by PMing Banana. You can still tell us who you voted for tho

Can you format it in the same way I did:

Character

Role

Justification

ILikePie5

Anyways, I’m going to get back to the strategy I came up with in Alien Mafia. The goal is to find the OG scum first based on motives of everyone. It does require everyone to full claim so that we can determine those motivations.

High level, I think we can eliminate Luna from the category because of his early attention on Kohai. I know I’m not scum. That leaves:

Mag1c

Wylted

Thoth

Mago

Mikal

Mag1c is pure big brain. I can see the strategy with him and Kohai at EOD. Goal was to get REF so they could kill two birds with one stone and the switch to Pie was theatric. I think this is unlikely though, and my townread of him during DP1 was pretty solid.

Wylted is an interesting one. He’s pulled this Miller ploy before when he was scum with Luna. They basically cruised to the win in that game. I can see the same thing here. Take the fake claims. Soft claim Dreamer early and then come out with Miller.

Thoth also is interesting, but is reliant upon Wylted. In certain ways they’re intertwined. I don’t think Thoth can be the OG if Wylted is telling the truth about Miller.

Mago I can see being the OG scum. He was in the shadows (normal scum meta). The dynamic between him the Kohai was non existent. The questioning about Yakuza also came off a bit disingenuous to me, especially with the side quest of Tailor. No reason to believe there’s a Tailor or anything similar

Mikal is hard to judge as OG scum from posts. Only thing there to read is Kohai chose REX over Casey/Mikal initially. The role Mikal has though is really powerful for scum if used correctly. It basically reduces a town vote. At 3-2 LYLO, town instantly loses because they lose the ability to gain a majority. Magistrate is also an exotic role. We have Watcher, Miller, Doctor, Cop, and then a Magistrate?

Here’s a possibility:

Kohai + Pie. Kohai yakuzas someone, who is a watcher. That someone is now Pie’s teammate. Pie claims that someone’s role.

That instantly loses if whoever Kohai Yakuzaed gets lynched first. Not taking that risk ever.

Being investigative wouldn't help pie as there is an unclaimed cop as well.

However taking a step back to consider things is maybe a good ideal.

The counter to a cop would be a yakuzu and the miller so it's unlikely scum have a godfather. But I also think that Yakuza is a strong enough role that you could punish the person recruited by removing their vote for the next day. Which would point to Mikal/lunatic.

The associative tells between Kohai and pie are strong though. I also think lunatic taking a stand against pie created some behavior that felt off from pie. It felt like acting from Pie if that makes sense.

I was trying to avoid being lynched and get an investigation off. At that point in time, I was the only investigative role and Luna was trying to get me lynched. He still is tunneling me.

We have time to think about this though

UNVOTE

UNVOTE

investigative. That was the one way you could be town. You weren’t producing scumreads so you could avoid the usual NP1 fearkill.

idk about yakuza mind games yet, but first thought is that I find it hard to believe they chose you based on the situation.

That’s correct. Choosing me would’ve been retarded. IMO strongest options would be you, Luna, Thoth, Wylted.

I think we have been tunneling Pie too much. Deservedly, but I want to look somewhere else for now, i.e., I am going to try to sleep now and I hope that y’all will have done so by the time I wake up.
I mean if you want to explore elsewhere that's fine, we have plenty of time. But don't dismiss all the behavioral evidence against pie because you are getting weary about the push in that direction; There's well substantiated reasoning for it. It's not like we are just tenneling him for the sake of tunneling.

It really is tunneling for the sake of tunneling but okay.

What do you think of pies claim?
Judging only from the information in the flipped role cards since I am not a From fan, Pie's claimed justification is weaker than Rex's or Kohai's. I also thought the writing style had a tinge of ChatGPT-esque je ne sais quoi, but that might be evidence in Pie's favor since the cards were at least partially AI-generated. It's an average-weak claim, if you ask me. I did not visit Magic, so I can't question that.

I think kohais unwillingness to lynch him was pretty evident of their association ngl. Scum kohai kills pie there all day. At the bare minimum if pie was town, then it was kohais plan to recruit him, either way, not a good look for pie.

Thats just not true. Scum Kohai would be getting 2 free mislynches by taking out REF there over Pie. If he goes Pie, then REF could conceivably come back tomorrow and that avenue is gone. Here, he had the association with me.

Oh boy. L-1 already. Fair ig. My luck just absolutely sucks. As promised, I will full claim:

Character: Jade Herrera
Role: Watcher
Justification: I see connections that others overlook and through them, discover the secrets of the town

NP1: I watched Mag1c cause he was was my top town read. Didn’t see anyone visit him.
Why was magic your top town read? Because he didn't vote you at EOD? lol. Why wouldn't you protect thoth or wylted who were more likely hinting power roles?

I explained last DP why Mag1c was my top townread. I read Wylted as Dreamer which is why I didn’t watch him. Thoth, I still didn’t like what he did at the beginning. And the aspect of his and Wylted’s role not jiving according to him wasn’t a point in his favor. He also seemed like the obvious target so there was some WIFOM there as well.
