We have til tomorrow at 6pm to decide a lynch, and I imagine with the super bowl me might run into activity issues, so we should start discussing whether we are lynching pie or thoth this day phase.

There is a heavy chance that we will get a replacement for awesome, and we have kohai as a back up. Plus he has soft claimed a favor giving mechanic. I am giving up hope that awesome will do literally anything more than that, so we can lynch him tomorrow if he's not replaced. I want to lynch in my POE this day phase after a bit more responses.

What do you think you have done as town this game that should set you apart as exceptionally townie, or more townie than others?

Everytime we’ve seen a CC with the same role, they’ve been on opposite teams. So either you’re scum or he’s scum

If she is scum why do you think she would claim that AFTER shining already claimed it then? Obviously her intention isn't to CC him or she would be pressuring him

Leaving aside her info, something about Wryly has seemed off this game to me. Shining feels shiny. Not enough to go off of.

Shining is playing similar to how he has played in every game since the beginning of his first mafia game tbh. Interesting you think there is nothing to go off of with him, wen awesome5000 has literally done nothing.

I’d like to see a flip between Shining and Wryly. I’m unconvinced they could have passives that similar.

But I have lingering questions: why does scum Shining say the Shadow Poisoner visited him, and why does scum Shining fake claim a passive like that when Rex handed scum fake role cards that were perfectly safe to claim? Also, why did scum poison Mago at all? He's an easy mislynch target, why waste poison on him.

Is he an easy mislynch though? Everyone was on at the end of the day phase, and enough people town read him when we had the most active players possible in the game that we couldn't lynch him. Honestly made me go into the night phase even more suspicious of him since scum may hesitant to board that wagon, unless the scum is exactly pie, wylted and banana and I am not so sure of that. If they thought he was never going to be lynched though or it would look bad for them to lynch him, it might be better to poison him since letting him into lylo with that vengeful role could be game ending for them. The poison also just lets them keep a chaotic townie alive to muddy the waters of the day phase as well. I don't think poisoning Mago was a bad move from scum, actually it was lowkey big brained.

Strangely no one has claimed a character with any of the roles so far except for Magoroth.

I am not ready to share it yet, but something you said strangely makes me town read you, where it would probably make someone like pie scum read you. I am a bit of a conspiracy theorist about some things though, and I at the very least don't see you lying but I will need to mull this over and decide if anything is worth outing here.

Scum having an NK and Poisoner is also broken imo. It makes sense if the Poisoner activates with more favor. But NP1 having both is broken. This train of thought has be sussing Shining A LOT more. 

I can confirm a poisoner though broken or not. And I agree it is a bit busted I am hoping it is x shot or something to balance out.

I still don’t buy Mago being Town. Being “Poisoned” seems like a ploy to avoid being lynched these next to days under the guise of, “I’m going to die anyway.”

Also Shining claimed that the Poisoner visited him. Unless there’s 2 Poisoners, someone is lying.

Theres something going on here we don’t know for sure, but it could be the Poisoner has a second role. Either way unless the strategy is for earth to directly try and save his scum buddy and tie them together, it’s not the smartest. And apparently mago dies at the end of next day phase anyway. So I am not sure lynching him would accomplish anything here. If he doesn’t die we can lynch him dp4, but two day phases makes that an easier possibility.

I think you’re dismissing the investigative argument too quick. A Cop, Watcher, Tracker, and Rolecop in the same game. Regardless of the favor mechanic, the odds of scum having at least one of the latter 3 makes sense for the game.

I am not dismissing it out of hand, of the investigation roles claimed I am highly suspicious wryly is a mafia scout atm. Still weighing if her reasoning for tracking Mikal makes sense here.
