Okay, so I just received confirmation my role Wylted gave me CANNOT be a lie. Assuming no manipulation roles act on me or my target (not even sure how a manipulation role could affect me without targeting my target), my ability is 100% guaranteed to do exactly what it says it does.

So Wylted is telling the truth about that part of his role.

I’m sure I asked you this before, but, what is your justification for you’re a Redirector/Bodyguard?

Besides, if he even is Town, assuming all three are somehow Town (which implies Pie and you scum), his role is a weak version of Bodyguard because he could easily give out Bodyguard to scum, for whom Bodyguard isn’t a particularly dangerous role to use. So somehow his claim I am not factoring in as a proper bodyguard.

I would guess scum has the ability to counter at most one bodyguard role per night, plus some crazy Lawyer/Bus Driver/Framer. That makes the three BG theory seem less crazy, although admittedly a little bit of a stretch.

Why can’t it be both of them? Suppose his role that he gave me is a complete lie and my day action does literally nothing, just a role like “Give out a fake role during the day. They will receive whatever feedback you decide.”

If I’m not mistaken these are literally the claims.

If Pie is investigative, two of these bodyguards could keep him and the Cop alive for two nights. It’s strong, but not that strong. I don’t know what to think. With the Cop being odd-even night, maybe two bodyguards isn’t such a stretch. Not sure about the third one.

Could all these roles exist on the Town side? Bodyguard is not an especially powerful role.

Can you please confirm or deny whether you are an Investigative role or not? I think three bodyguards and two investigatives might be too strong, not sure. It’s an unusual setup for sure.

What made you say there was resistance to Lunatic’s lynch?

Wylted yesterday said there’s a resistance on Lunatic, coming from you, which I don’t understand. I didn’t notice any special resistance against flipping Lunatic. Also, the train on him literally came outra nowhere.

That was before there was a Bodyguard flip, which for some reason, that I don’t actually understand, makes people think he has to be scum? Wtf? Why can’t there be two Bodyguards? We don’t know what roles scum has.

Why would scum being able to give out Day Cop be so bastard? It’s not like it’s particularly useful to them. It could even be the case that the DayCop gives erroneous results, like a Naive Cop (or like a Cop + Lawyer combination), so it might not be that crazy.

I think Pie is Townier than either one of Whiteflame/Wylted. He seems to be the only one actually invested in solving this game. Wylted is just obsessed with his flavour cop role for some reason, but him pushing me to make up my mind so quickly is so over the top it almost seems like it shouldn’t come from scum.

I mean, there’s no question here, right? Rex claimed 1X BG at the end of the last DP. Wryly/Thoth were the BG. Rex is the obvious lynch.

You do realise Wylted’s role could easily be make-believe, right? Like, he might not even be Inventor. The bodyguard ability has thus far not been confirmed, he gave it to Mag1cman (supposedly), who made no mention of having received an item. I doubt he wouldn’t have at least soft-claimed something along those lines.

Closest thing I know to this is Illuminati, a role that assumes a Town/Mafia role at the start of the game, investigates as such, and may or may not gain their night action, along with flipping their assumed role (with Illuminati being a scum faction that, if it exists, the Mafia win with the Town).

There is no point to revealing this information lol. If the flavour didn’t match it would be a different story. But it does.

I guess the closest thing to that would be a Tailor. I have never seen such a role before, but then again I have never seen a Flavour Cop either.

I don’t know the answer to rhat question. I asked Kohai if a Framer would have to be a DAY Framer specifically in order to interfere with my results and his answer was “no comment”.

He did say Framers and Lawyers might exist and interfere with results tho.

The only thing I’m sure of is that Rex is scum, since he just trolled a little bit and if I was Town in his position, I would try to rip the people accusing me to shreds.

There many things a Town!Rex could say here. The fact that he’s just content to troll a bit means he really is scum and he really made up a bodyguard claim.

Okay. I got my results. I won’t say who I checked, since it’s not even relevant, because I was in fact day FLAVOUR cop, not alignment cop. All I did was confirm that someone’s flavour matches their claim. Not very useful, especially considering I don’t even know if the night action Wylted gave me does what it says it does, and even if it’s legit, I don’t know if Framers or such exist. Or Lawyers.
