I've said it already, but I would think you would at least have considered Mikal as potential scum given the CC. I wouldn't say the issue was with who you chose as an alternative, just the lack of clarity on the why after pointing out the CC.

Again, my point on the CC is that Mikal’s claim is so ridiculous that, if it exists, it’s plausible from a neutral POV that my claim is real too. Like, we know the Earth is round. Let’s say that Kohai said something that seemed to imply he thinks it’s flat. This would be so far removed from reality that we might as well consider the possibility that he thinks it’s a hexagon on a turtle’s back. Once you have passed a certain threshold of ridiculousness, any amount of extra ridiculousness is believable.

My point is that you never know in a Kohai game. With most mods, I wouldn’t even consider the possibility, and Mikal wouldn’t even consider using it as a reaction test.

As for Thoth, I agree with Pie that he’s at least contributing, but that pseudo-CC bothers me. I don’t buy that that is Mikal’s claim, and the fact that he’s not all over Thoth stands out (maybe it is just a reaction test), but the fact that Thoth hasn’t had much to say about it is pretty confounding and the gut read-based vote on Thoth after mentioning that CC is troubling, since he basically just writes it off as “Kohai can’t balance a game.”
Here’s the thing. In a 10-player game, Mikal’s claim is beyond ridiculous whether there are more extra kills or not. That leaves open the possibility that both my claim and Mikal’s claim are real because it’s already absurd enough for just his claim to exist.
Banana peeling piling on my wagon so enthusiastically after Wryly is odd, but almost TWTBAW. I’d vote there for now if it weren’t a sort of OMGUS.
By someone, I mean a scammer who had access to a friend’s account and was doing a reasonable impression of them. Obviously, I don’t download and run files from random people lol

I point out that "the first paragraph" of the Wikipedia article says nothing about "guns and conspiracy theories". He amends himself and says oh well, it was the second paragraph, and also he never said Kohai didn't source the justification from other places as well. This imo doesn't really line up with the vibe of post #4, which seems to be saying that Kohai is lazy and grabbed the justification from the first, easiest source he could find.
Part of my role PM is just a clipping from the first paragraph of Chris Langan’s Wikipedia article, in slightly different words. Part of it is based on his views that are described in the second paragraph. Maybe I could have spoken more precisely, but my point is that Kohai was clearly relying on the first search results when writing my role card.
Normally, you can make certain assumptions about how the roles in a game are balanced and how they interact with each other. Mikal’s claim is wildly unbalanced and a near-CC of mine. With Kohai, all bets are off.

My impression of him before this game was mainly based on his output before he became a political figure. I knew about his racism and right-wing politics to some extent, but I mostly forgot that he existed after the Errol Morris interview and never thought to check his XformerlyTwitter output.

I wasn't sure that this was worth immediately SOP-claiming. In hindsight, I suppose the wiser rule to follow is that if you think it might be worth SOP-claiming, it's definitely an SOP-claim.
