There are a couple people who I'm not sure have softclaimed or not. I will say though that I'm not gay people, my lisp post was just horsing around.
Thoth seems to be assuming that third parties kind of require there to be a theme split because they need to have a flavor that doesn't fall into either category of the split, e.g. in Madoka Magicka mafia scum was the demon cat and town were magic girls, so as third party I was neither; I was a witch.
But I suppose you can eschew a theme split and just declare a certain person to be TP. Their flavor would just be irrelevant to their alignment.
I can't exactly modpsych Lunatic here, but I would presume that a theme split between town and scum means that a third-party won't belong to either category.
I'm trying to imagine what #4 could even mean. Like, if someone had a stereotype that specifically applied to Hasidic Jews and not to all Jews? But then you could argue that Jews are a subset of people in the same way that Hasidic Jews are a subset of Jews. Which is pilpul, if you ask me.

At minor risk of OGI, I'm now slightly leaning towards #4 being fake because the writing style seems slightlly out of sync with the rest of the OP.
The modkill on Lunatic was debatable, imo. If this were my game, I think I would have had some choice words for Lunatic, but not modkilled him because it’s plausible that he could have been faking it, and the main point of the no-copypasting rule is to stop people from verifying their claim with something obviously in the mod’s writing style.

If there is a theme split, then there has to be a third-party, so it's interesting to wonder what the split is there.
Gun to my head, the fake game mechanic is #1 and it's 3 scum versus 9 town. The third-party seems like exactly the sort of thing scum would use to spread FUD among town, #3 seems largely inconsequential, I'm not even sure how to parse #4 since a stereotype is by definition for an entire group of people, #2 and #5 are plausible but only something to be on the lookout for as the game progrsesses.
I think Luna's level of "paraphrasing" would get your essay referred to academic affairs

Modkills have to end the day instantly. Let's say it's 1v3 with two confirmed townies. If the day continues after a modkill, the unconfirmed townie can modkill themselves and leave the scum to be lynched.
