I think most people just don't use the like function.

Even if so, enough people use it that some of my jokes I think aren't especially funny get likes.

While I'm no fan of Trump, I hope everyone understood that I was only making fun of him for the sake of being contrary to the game host. If this had been Hillary 2016 Mafia, I would have made jokes at the Democrats' expense, much like the Democrats turn Washington D.C. into a joke at our expense.

I dunno how I can make jokes I think are barely funny and they get zero likes, but some of the ones I think are more than barely funny, like that one, get zero.

I don't like how forwardly Kohai claimed in post #272. Moving the game forward is one thing. Moving the game faster than the maximum safe speed is another. There was no reason I can think of to for a townie to unpromptedly claim any character there. Maybe it's NAI for Kohai, but I'm scumreading it.

We've gotten uncomfortably many hard-claims and needlessly precise soft-claims today. No more claims until tomorrow.

That would be Magoroth. The lack of a CC on his Motion Detector claim gives him some cover. Speaking of:

Shining is townlock for the reasons whiteflame laid out in post #270. Trump almost can't be scum because then scum would have no need for that many questions.

I will say that being so quick to join a policy, and staying after the mod has resolved the issue, is a bit concerning. I remember Shining was the only person to join me when I wanted to policy Thoth last game. But Kohai remains slight town in my book.

At the risk of being self-serving, I think we should drop this angle on principle. What I did was wrong, but also inconsequential. If you don't believe me, ask Savant to check.

Can't a mod just look at the previous post version and see that all I did was add a missing word? And you all know I wouldn't edit something game-related anyway.

It does bother me a bit that you seem to be self conscious about posting fluff. Why is that something that would make you self conscious?

The joke in post #57. I didn't erase it. I edited it because I forgot a word and typos like that can ruin jokes. I'm not self-conscious about posting fluff.

Just fyi, I thought that editing a post left a message that said "Last edited by [person] at [time]" or something along those lines. So I never would have done it with any game-related post.

I’m concerned that the existing soft-claims list is full enough that scum have a decent shot at finding believable fake-claims now, especially if they aren’t concerned about saving their questions for roles.

Quick question: does Pie have a history of using Tailors or Janitors? That would fuck up attempts to figure out a theme split that’s probably not easy anyway.
