I do have mild reason to suspect that Zoey is a fake-claim based on my PM, so that does swing me towards Vader. I still think it’s more likely between Pie and Luna, but if we are not willing to lynch one of them today, I will go with Vader.

One, I’m going to need more than this to switch my vote. Pie hasn’t come off as scummy to me, so I need something spelled out.

Two, this doesn’t really solve our problem. Pie’s not voting himself, so unless Vader voted for Pie, he’s not getting lynched even if I switch my vote.

I think there is a reasonable chance that Vader did vote for Pie.

I'm not a fan of Lunatic acting like whiteflame is scumreading him without a second thought. Someone has to go today. Nobody said you are 100% scum.

I don't know what Pie's problem is with the Voodoo Lady ploy. Mafia is a game of behavior. To test behavior, you need reactions. I pushed some buttons that I thought would bait reactions, and I think it's clear in retrospect that I always had the intention of coming clean.

I'm willing to tentatively buy Lunatic's claim if only because it would be risky to claim vanillager when there are no other claimed or flipped vanillagers.

Alright. Guess that fits decently well with the tough look she puts on. Background is mainly that she's the black sheep of her family and rebellious. Not like my role is super well justified, so I can at least see the shape of it.

When I read this, I searched Mira and found out that I had her appearance mixed up with Rumi, but I am indeed Mira.

I guess so. My role PM says my character, description of character, and ability, but does not give a role name or explicit justification. Before you accuse me of lying because I don't know what my role is called, you know that I would have researched it if I were fake-claiming.

If I full-claim and one of Pie and Luna does, what order should we go in? Maybe we should agree in advance to both post our full-claims at a set time.

When I asked whiteflame if his PM mentioned any other characters by name and said that I thought one of the main girls was more likely to be the fake-claim than the other two, that was because my PM says I am Girl A and my friend is Girl B. I was wondering if whiteflame’s role says he is Girl B and friends with Girl A.

One more thing before I get off of here for the night and try to sleep. I will gladly claim my character tomorrow if people want me to, but I'm not claiming my role unless y'all are totally willing to hold me over the lynch barrel for it.

I do understand how my speculations this game could come off as revealing things a townie should not know, especially given that I have done that before as scum, but this time I am town because I am town because I said I am town because I am definitely town.

Oversharing in general thinking it will make you look smart and farm you town cred

Generally speaking, if someone has an idea about what's going on in the game, then sharing that idea is probably good because it can spark discussion and maybe lead to other people figuring out things that nobody would have figured out otherwise. If I think that the reasons to keep a thought to myself outweigh the reasons to share it, then I do not share it.

I like to think that my thoughts are so good that it would be stealing you deprive you of them. That aside, does TMI mean that you seem to know more than a townie should, that you are sharing things that could help scum, or both?

If we started with 5 town and 2 scum, the game would have ended day 1 if we hit the non-Rex scum. I think this is solid heuristic evidence for 4 town, 2 scum, and a third-party, in which case the remaining scum might not be super-powerful to counteract Rex's Doomed.

For one, I don't really buy this whole Voodoo Lady test from Thoth.

I'm not likely to analyze the theme? Do you remember in Suikoden when we were scummates and I asked questions targeted at sussing out who I could recruit, since I bought Mikal's BS that I couldn't figure out recruitment targets myself unless I had played the game?

At risk of more over-defensiveness, if y'all are going to push me for a claim, please remember that I tend not to be awake and active until at least close to noon Central time.

Speaking of reaction-baiting, just saying it's a stretch to scumread you because of that comes off as a lot more polite than you tend to be when other people say things you think are stupid, especially when those things are directed at you. Like you know you got caught and you don't want to bring that much attention to it.

I agree that it would be a ridiculous stretch to scumread someone just because of that. I'm saying it's a bit of heuristic evidence that can be added to your pile, and maybe to whiteflame's if I didn't townread him so strongly.

I figured the question was so weird and unprompted that you would wonder why I asked it, and then maybe make the connection.

In your Inheritance Cycle game on DebateArt, whiteflame had a custom role called Voodoo Lady that could choose a player and a 15-letter word, and, if the person said that word the next day, there was a 50% chance they would be told the Voodoo Lady was town. I breadcrumbed it by getting you to say insubordination last day phase and getting whiteflame to say electromagnetic today. This is not my role. I was just baiting reactions. It's possible that you missed it, but I think it's odd that you said nothing about how weird of a request it was and said (post #48) that you hadn't seen me breadcrumb anything. I figured you would recognize what I think is your own custom role and conclude that it was more likely that Magic gave me that role than that I found it in an old game.

I can't be sure, but there's a decent chance that I know who that character is and who you are. You might be able to guess the same about me.

Does your role PM mention any character other than yours by name? Magic said it's okay to ask this.
