So he's required to visit someone he correctly predicts to be in the game even though his visit doesnt actually do anything?

These arguments concerning Pie don't seem entirely damning. Pie is as likely to be innocent as guilty, then.

I would hate to see us lose yet another townie due to a PM communication fumble. At present I just dont see a better candidate than Rex.

I'm not gonna be able to figure out who the recruit is this DP -- they'd just claim their original role and character -- so the only shot is to figure out who the OG scum was. They're the only ones who might be fake claiming at least their role, maybe their role and character.

Again, Rex looks best for that, but I'm just not happy that he's so universally FOS'd. Either someone is bussing or we're barking up the wrong tree.

You can ask him if a role exists? I thought you were a character cop.

How exactly are you saying your role works? You visit a player and it returns their character name and description, that simple? Why would you say your role has utility now but not next NP, when you can actually use it?

This has been a pretty frustrating game for me so far. DP1 was a flash in the pan, 16 pages of DP2 haven't yielded as much progress as it should have, real life has left me much less time to process a much more quickly developing game than the last one, the Yakuza flip shat in my cereal and cost me a whole DP of data, and I'm inexperienced at reading behavior.

scattered thoughts:

1. Obviously the resistance of full claiming and the role description fumble look pretty sus for Rex
2. hard to see Mikal being scum but still saying Pie should've received that noti, unless they're both scum, he knew Pie had a passive role, he was planning to claim he was interfered with, or he's the recruit, meaning he really did send the night action to Pie
3. whiteflame is high on my list of who I would've chosen to convert as scum. He could have just presented the information from Vader accurately for town cred. behavior seems townie but I doubt I'll get useful behavior reads on experienced players, so I really hate how behavior-oriented this game is
4. some of these are pretty major characters and risky to fake claim in a game where scum were given no fake claims. Ellen Ripley especially. but this is a game where straightclaiming character and fakeclaiming role seems like a viable strategy, making Rex's power seem more questionable

Waking up from my blackout nap like Victor from Underworld when they uncasked him a century early. Catching up.

I had a long day and I'm too burnt out to follow this and look up all the roles I don't know. I'mma take a nap and do a late night catch up.

Wendy proved adept at monitoring and tracking her brother after he was sent into danger at the crash site of the USCSS Maginot. Thus I am the Tracker.

NP1 I tracked Kohai. I had lingering questions about the “two Xenomorphs” thing and I needed to know if the Vengeful role was true as it seemed hella swingy. Kohai visited no one, consistent with Vengeful. Then I read DP2 and realized it didn't matter because he could be scum now anyway. My results only really contraindicate that he was the original scum, unless he waived his power or had a passive scum role (if that's even a thing).

Hang seems better than eliminate. Distinguishes what town does from what scum does a bit better.

The PM mentions humans when it's describing Boy Cavalier's Lost Boys, his efforts to extend human life, and when it's describing that Wendy is stronger than normal humans.

Hybrid; it says Wendy is a human mind entered into a machine. Asked Luna a followup if Wendy is classified as human or alien. Answer was neither.
