Yeah the movie is overrated imo. Like I said in the signups, I thought the movie was merely ok. Just needed a theme to work with my setup.

I do think the hype is a little excessive, though I enjoyed the music and the animation looks great. Not everyone's cup of tea I guess.

That's legitimately crazy these days, can't even throw a rock without hearing "Golden" when it hits. Then again, I've never truly understood how your mind works.

I have seen like a little more than half of this movie, I tried watching it at work one night to see what the hype was about. I think I fell asleep like 70% through. I think I got the jist of it though.

Anyways, I don't think anyone here has been here long enough to remember when I talked about this, but I am my favorite role ever. That's my soft for now, and probably un needed, but I see no harm as I doubt anyone here actually knows what my favorite role is.

I did ask Mharman to clarify a couple of things and now know that, yes, there is a theme split and, yes, scum have a full claim available to them, not just a partial claim.

Regarding who's likely in this game, I have some thoughts on the basics. I think we can expect Rumi, Zoey and Mira all to be in here as the main cast. There aren't all that many other named characters in the mix beyond the two main antagonists - Jinu and Gwi-Ma - and a handful of smaller roles.

Out of curiosity, who hasn't seen this movie?

I have seen and very much enjoyed the movie, so it should be fun managing theme this time. I suspect the theme split is relatively obvious, but I'm not going to get too into the weeds on that one, especially considering the fact that scum have a fake claim handy.

I'd put Vader is a slight town lean pile, but it's not a strong read since he could just be using the same method as Pie to look town (that felt more obviously genuine and didn't require a role claim, Vader's felt a little more forced). I'll also give Mag1c the benefit of the doubt for now since he's been more active. I'm good with lynching either Shining or REF, who both seem to be taking a decided backseat in a game where they should both know they cannot afford to just not contribute. I get that REF says he's busy, but we're on a ticking clock here and saying he'll post tomorrow isn't good enough. Shining somehow seems more dismissive, so my vote will stay on him for now.

This game is bastard, so theres essentially nothing to get caught up on besides Wryly getting killed. I'll just VTNL and we can move on.

I think the play here is to put scum in a 1v6, we should have some bits of information in the night. I think the sooner we end this DP, the more time we have for the rest of the game.

I think that's fair. We can utilize whatever info we get during the night as well as the contents of Wryly's flip to hopefully hone in on the other scum.
