I knew I was always going to be under major suspicion in a lylo situation so I wouldn't have been mad if I was lynched in thoth's place, could have made things easier. Or worse based on mechanics, hard to say.

Yes this was already discussed in great detail. It was always a possibility that he was framed, no one lynching him was like 100% sold he was scum. But you were the one saying we need to solve this at mylo right? That's all we were doing, he was in the POE. I would have been okay if I was the lynch and would have understood it. But we needed to lynch someone, and it ended up being thoth.

Running low on time, so here is some last hoorah wifom arguments, take them with a grain of salt of course.

I already explained why it doesn't make sense behaviorally for me to claim a JOAT with the existence of an inventor, literally the dumbest thing to do as scum ever. It's the one thing wryly has been consistently suspicious of the whole game and its one thing I just can't really say anything to, because the similarities between it and JOAT are pretty palpable. So you really have to think for me to claim that as scum I just had to bank that you would buy the wifom card of "I would never do that" which is a lot off eggs to put in one basket. Also I feel like I am usually pretty good at fake claiming. I try to go balls to the walls and claim something I feel like will really confirm me or try to claim some wild result as scum. Again, you can call this wifom but you think my goal to win the game would be to consistently state that I could probably confirm myself then just never do it and pray that the wifom saves me? There is all the risk with little reward with this play. Not to mention why would I just randomly muddy the water with my role by adding in stuff like "Oh wait my bullet proof was actually used"? What does this accomplish? As scum I just stick with whatever lie I was going with, how in the hell does it benefit me to say I misunderstood that I was a passive bulletproof instead of an active one, or that my x shot was used already. None of this added to or helps my case.

Next I townread people who it was inconvienent as scum to town read. I always town read bananas role even though role confirmation =/= affiliation confirmation. She was a viable mislynch target, and even whiteflame admits he was willing to lynch her. After I consistently stated she was probably town she DIES, probably because at that point scum realized she was no longer a viable mislynch.

Whiteflame as scum actually only really had me as a viable mislynch. Banana was too much of a gamble combined with kohais role, and he'd already locked himself into a town read on wryly. His last real option was getting me mislynched. That's obviously what the plan was and why he voted me immediately going into lylo, where I was still considering all options. He had this prepared and planned going into the day phase.

Finally his role just allows for too many possibilities to confirm players, and thats not a way hes used it. If I had whiteflames role, the second I see people claiming roles on that list, I immediately can start POE forming based on whats been claimed, and start sussing things not on the list. The way he is playing that role makes no sense if it's actually real.

Anyways, there rests my WIFOM case, the rest is in your hands.

If my role got used one of my current theories absent of other information is that it had something to do with rexs bomb. But that kind of makes no sense either since thoth claimed to have visited the mago too, so if mago was given a bomb we would have both died. So my other theory is that scum have an ability to take away a role or something, but it doesn't make sense why they would take it away and then just not kill me. Ultimately I just have no clue whats going on, I am hoping it will make sense in the endgame.

I’ll just say straight up that I won’t do this on principle. You’re basically telling me to break a mechanic of the game for a town auto-win. If it’s a choice between doing this and lynching me, then I’ll choose the latter. I’m not good with setting a precedent where we use a tactic that the mod explicitly prohibited to face roll our way to victory.

I know your scum but humor me for wrylys sake: Are you able to divulge literally anything? Like say if there was a JOAT would you be able to see what abilities they would have? I just have a hard time imagining you having a list that tells you every role and still doubting that certain roles exist, like bananas, rexs, mine, etc

Actually I am going to ask about how 1x bomb works as well, because if that was the role rex gave out that could have potentially been what used my BP if he gave it to mago or something.

So I think since my bulletproof is apparently used up somehow it will impact the answer but I rephrased the question and asked him what would happen if I still had my BP, we no lynched, and you were presumably night killed as the only confirmed town what would happen. That would put me mago and whiteflame in LYLO since his restless spirit still works in mylo. I know it wouldn't change things and it would still be a 1 v 1 with me and whiteflame, but I am curious the mechanizations of how that would play out.

Ask Savant what would have happened if you and whiteflame had lynched me this DP, whiteflame had only you to NK and you're bulletproof, and Mago counted toward parity but can't be NK'd cuz he's already dead

Pretty common knowledge that in the States the word is highly associated with mob murder of black people. And while white liberals can often be more sensitive than the minorities they purport to defend, in this case I don't think it's any secret black people aren't huge fans of the word either.

Our community is small and friendly so I don't think it's a huge concern here. But if we ever do replace it, I don't want "eliminate." My mom suggested "pitchfork" in its place for "torch and pitchfork." I like that better. (I live with my mom and grandmother and I've had to explain how much of my time and attention this game takes up.)

Words only have power if you give it to them. You make lynch a bad word then it suddenly means things it never had to. And I don't think of black people when I use the word "lynch" and I would venture to say I doubt most people actually do, it's a pretty outdated thing. It doesn't hold anywhere close to the same power the N word has had. In a shit talk online game lobby you might hear the N word thrown out because that word has been given power and meaning, but I've never heard anyone say "Im gonna lynch you you bastard" after dying in a game lol. Most of that stuff is veiled in reality anyway, does anyone ever call someone the N word to their face? Let alone use the word lynch? You propagate more racism by being sensitive to things like this.

This is actually a good point. Even if he can't divulge this information, wouldn't he have known that if people were claiming those roles they were likely town and not fake claims, therefore he should have been town reading them? Pretty sure he remained open about them in his POE.

Just woke up. Savant answered me, and I have no clue what this means, but he said my bulletproof was used but I “wasn’t attacked”. I have no clue what that mean and I dont know why he didn’t ever tell me it was used.

Its just how you phrased that shit, using words like "Supposedly" and "Conveniently" telling me I changed my story instead of just mis understanding that I wasn't an active BP after I already admitted to confusing it. It sounded like a pre-determination of guilt.
