Yes, scum DP1 are looking for a mislynch that they can push and have plausible deniability. I'm a good target for that, but to someone approaching the game from an uninformed perspective my behavior should strike them as odd and give them pause.
There's usually no such thing as 'great' scum reads DP1. We have very little confirmed info to work with other than the fact that Kohai is confirmed town. There are just 'less bad' scum reads.

But Luna has felt like all day he is building a case to lynch me and not objectively analyzing anything I do because he thinks he can push it through based on my schizo behavior. Summing it up I do not see much consistent thought in their positions. It really feels like they have intention to kill with little consideration or logic reflecting an intention tell and their purported reads just feel fake to me.
This is basically how I see DP1. Bullshit a bunch then pick someone to kill. Unless scum egregiously fucks up (rare) scumhunting is just performative and ineffective because the information asymmetry is at its highest - it's 99% wifom. DP1 I lynch almost purely on intuition and just shitstir, then I actually start to analyze once we have a flip to work with. The flip is like the loose thread that let's you unravel the game. Until I have it generating activity and reactions is a better use of my time than generating bullshit wifom analysis of largely inscrutable behavior.

I think that hard town reading anyone DP1 is usually not justified unless something very extreme happens or they are a bad player with a super obvious meta. When people do it, I usually see it as fake or just naivete. So, you shouldn't. But I think pushing a lynch based on this behavior is suspect. I don't think my behavior has been objectively scummy in any way. But I think it's the sort of behavior that scum would see as easier to mislynch.
