I've confirmed several things with Thoth. If Mag1c is the JK, he would have been informed that he'd been RB'd if he had. The JK also would have been effective if his target had RB'd him, though that's less important, too many variables there.

Yep, that's... a pretty big wrench to throw in the mix. What are the odds that scum got Link as a fake claim?

I'll lay out some requests, then I'm done for the night. I have other thoughts, but I'm going to keep them to myself for now and wait for some answers. Since I literally have a giant, mod-confirmed green check over my head at this point, I might as well use it to some effect. I've got enough insight into Kohai that I don't have any questions for him.

Wylted, I'd like the justification on that Caroler. I believe Link is in this game and I have little reason to mistrust you, but I'm covering all the bases.

Rex, full claim with justification when you get on.

Mag1c, full claim with justification when you get on. You have something to reveal and at this point, it's pretty ridiculous to hold back. Having a green check from Luna doesn't give you much cover at this point.

Luna, spell out your justification. You gave your full claim, but I can't find that.

Based on what I saw, this order of operations makes sense. The one quibble I have is with that final sentence:

Thoth confirmed a mistake. He didn’t say what the mistake was. Assuming Wylted’s telling the truth, which I do, the mistake was in the wording of his role. There would have to have been two mistakes - the wording of his role and your failed receipt of the Carol - that he’d be referring to for me to buy your story entirely. The post from Thoth could be referring to one or both.

I'm coming back to this in a bit. For now, I can't dismiss the possibility that Mikal is scum, nor can I dismiss Luna, Mag1c or Rex.

Long story short: I figured they were least likely to die in the night. Mikal had already full claimed a role that would have no extra utility going forward and Rex had at least character claimed. I figured with the Tailor, scum would go for someone unclaimed and I wanted to get my role off for certain.

Brief aside, I learned during the NP that my role was actually supposed to be written for day use, but it was written as a night action. So if I’d been able to do it during the DP, my targets both would’ve spent more time in chat and I could have selected by other criteria. Oh well…
