Where are you retards at???

Dude, I said I was working on some thoughts. Gimme a bit.

Well hurry up. We don’t have all night.

I'm not making a slapdash decision, so expect me to take some time. I've got enough to get out a read list and make a call.

nvm apparently i took too long to submit an action needed to be in 48 hours o well

I did mention earlier that the OP said day actions had to be submitted within that window. Was already townreading you, so bit of a shame if you don’t get a chance to use whatever it is.

whiteflame

Just leaving work. I'll simplify things: I have a confirmable role. It's not outright affiliation confirmation, but I've never seen a game where this role was given to scum.

whiteflame

I'll be active after work today, but I'm pretty slammed through the afternoon, so just bear that in mind. Rex does seem to be sussing me a bit (with a grain of salt for some reason), and Mikal seems to have me in POE too, so if there's a push for me to claim by then, I'll do it.

whiteflame

If you need more attention on you, consider my vote on you as well. I'd rather not lynch you just for not being here, but the game's too short to risk having anyone onboard who isn't going to be active.

whiteflame

We have 3 days to work with, so as Kohai said, there is room for one mislynch assuming no other means of eliminating scum exist. I'm still hesitant to give away too much information before NP1, though. In part, that comes down to an assumption about how much information we'll get from town roles and utilizing that next DP. In part, that's to give anyone with day actions (the OP suggests there's at least one) an opportunity to make a decision about whether or not they use it. Please note that if you do have a day phase role, you only have the first 48 hours during which you can submit what you'd like to do. That time is running out for this DP.

Im down to lock shining into something as well. Hes got enough votes so letting it sit but is mag normally this spazzy. Like the gameplay is kinda braindead. Not sure if hes even reading what people are typing lol

Can I just say its weird to sus me for having 3 votes because when I went to sleep I had just one on me. Not sure what you want from me. I'll character claim as per usual. I am the Great Fairy of Kindness.

Hmmm... interesting. There are 5 Great Fairies in the game, have to wonder how many of them are here. Not sussing it necessarily, especially since Tatl is apparenlty here and I suspect not Tael.

We're almost a 1/3 of the way through the day phase and we've got very little to work with.

Since we have only 3 full game days to lynch both scum I wonder if it's best to do a mass character claim.

This feels like a pretty premature thought. I get that there's not a lot to go off of so far, but I don't think everyone needs to character claim at this point to make headway. Remember: scum have two fake character claims. They can also ask about four separate roles. Speaking from experience, giving scum more information on available characters only helps them know which roles they can ask about.

whiteflame

I don't think this is a useful way to spend our time, either. I've got enough to do that I'll be busy for the next couple of hours, but I'll aim to get some more discussion going after I get back.

It’s one thing to be skeptical; if someone acts scummy and they flip town, yeah maybe there is room for doubt, even if they flip town and act towny you can allow some doubt, but saying you can’t trust flips is just anti-town as fuck

So... you just don't like that she was being absolutist with the statement? How she said it doesn't really bother me.

Like I said this is the type of statement that 1) sows confusion and 2) scum would say to keep themselves involved and appear to be interested in the game/solving the game. Please vote her.

I legitimately do not understand how this is meant to sow confusion. All of us have played with Tailors before and everyone else gets what she was trying to say. I'll admit that it's not the kind of thing you have to actually post for people to get it, but I can't say I see it as performative.

Because if we can’t trust flips then that removes a huge amount of information from the game

Except the fact that she said it doesn't suddenly mean we'll discount all flips. You're really harping on this and I don't see the harm that Banana has caused by mentioning her distrust.

I don’t understand this. So speaking to the obvious is scummy? I’m pretty sure it’s something we’re all thinking.
No, its not true, we can mostly trust flips, there’s literally like one flip maybe that we can’t trust, saying otherwise is anti-town as hell

If the information is correct that there is a Tailor, then there is precisely one flip we cannot trust. Considering it's early in the game and we necessarily have limited claim information, we should be interrogating flips closely, so while objectively you're correct that most flips will be accurate, I don't agree that that means we can just trust the flips we see nor that calling out the uncertainty "is anti-town as hell". It's a normal reaction to the existence of a Tailor in the game. It's fine if you have a different reaction, but speaking as someone who largely shares Banana's perspective, I don't agree with your view.

VTL: Magoroth

I’m hesitant to go with you on this. It’s a weird basis for sussing Banana, but I think it’s NAI based on how I’ve seen Magoroth behave before. Can’t tell what his aim is, but his argument is weak.

At least as a tailor.

Tael could be scum. Maybe since im tied to him. It could be bad info but doubt it
Wdym you’re tied to him?

They're both fairies in the game that develop a friendly relationship with Skull Kid before he gets taken over by Majora. One sticks with him (Tael), the other goes to Link (Tatl).

I too think third party should reveal but they probably won’t, it depends on their win condition, they could be pretty much anything that doesn’t have to see Town lose in order to win

Except that we know based on the OP that the TP can win with town or scum. Throwing their lot in with town now lends them a lot of credence. Throwing it in later would probably be a different story.

Whoever the TP is, please reveal yourself and take the win with Town. Make ours and your life easier

I have tried this with town as TP and they are just too stupid to ever cooperate even at the cost of themselves.

I'm not talkining about situations where I might be scum claiming it. I am talking about situations where they were reasonably certain I was TP and still lost an ally by being stupid

I’ve literally used a Day Vig as proof I was TP, shot a target that one of the most townread player wanted me to, and got lynched regardless because FML. I’d really like to change that dynamic at some point, but it requires a degree of trust that I’m not sure enough people can muster.

If it was me, I absolutely would. Tired of the dynamic with TPs where the only way forward is to keep both teams in the dark or lose.

If its happy maks salesmen. Hes prob an inventor or gift giver.

I’d be shocked if there’s no mask mechanic in the game, and he’d most definitely be at the center of it. Can’t see him being straight town.

whiteflame

I’ll just go ahead and give my thoughts on this:

I think the TP is almost certainly the Happy Mask Salesman. His motives are largely unclear in the series and he’s just as likely to help Link as he is to assault him, not to mention he picked up Majora’s Mask in the first place (though not for obviously nefarious purposes).

May as well full claim. Tatl. I follow link around giving him useful information. Thus informed.

Alright, that is useful, as is the Tailor info. I buy it, at least for now.

Nope. Small chance Tael is TP, but I think there’s a much more likely choice.

Assuming scum is a standard split.

Majoras mask is the only one that makes sense to me. He could use bosses as scum but doubt it.

OP confirmed this already. It’s Majora’s Mask and Skull Kid.

whiteflame

Excited about this theme since Majora’s Mask is one of my favorite games! Announcing who scum are is surprising, but the picks are obvious. There are at least a couple of obvious picks for town, too. And I think I know who the TP is, but I’ll keep that to myself for now.
