I support this ban. If a corp wants a home, let them finance a residence of their funded construction. Reducing the availability of single-famly homes by corporate greed is stupid when home ownership is as strained as it is now. I owned a home in San Francisco from new purchase in 1978 and moved out of it in 1992, by which time I owned the deed, but held it as a rental until a year ago, when I sold to the renter who lived in it for a few years before he wanted to buy it. I sold it for 18x my purchase price. But it never occurred to me that contributing to the housing market was such a necessary thing.

As I predicted earlier, at the World Economic Forum, Trump successfully negotiated a deal for use of Greenland by the US for strategic purposes. Anyone want to apologize for assuming Trump would do it by force? Got to know how to read the man. Why don't y'all Trump critics try that strategy instead of your constant bitching. He's just a man, but usually effective in negotiating. He tried negotiating with Iran, but some entities just refuse to negotiate, like Iran, and Maduro ion Venezuela, when both were given ample opportunity to stop their criminal behavior, just like what his happening her at home with criminals that include those who cross the border illegally. That is illegal, you know. There are several federal immigration statutes preventing it. Biden/Harris ignored them. Trump is not. He has sworn to uphold the law. Biden did too, but didn't. You tell me which is the more peaceful result with peace as a positive choice with consequence of peace, and not just the absence of war, which, as the "Cold War" proved, is neither peaceful nor cold.

I have collected 2021 data detailing gun use to kill humans [non-military], target shooting, and hunting. The results are revealing:

Results: more people engage in target shooting than by both other activities, individually, and more people engage in the two peaceful activities of target shooting and hunting than by killing humans.

This means that more people would loose their right to "keep and bear arms" by the 2nd amendment. Therefore, by strict adherence to democracy, a minority of people would cause the inconvenience of loss of a guaranteed constitutional right to the majority by banning all guns, which denial is a constitutional violation by denial of the root effect of democracy: majority rule.

*It must be acknowledged that there are other uses of guns than the three activities noted, such as ownership, but non-use, which has no statistic that could be found. Also, some gun owners engage ownership for self-defense, and while there are statistics of defensive gun use engaging an agressor, it is unknown how many have guns for this purpose, but never engage the actual self-defense need. Two of the three uses noted are the two highest percentage of known actual use: Target shooting and killing humans. Known engaged gun use for self-defense ranks in the 30th percentile of gun ownership for that purpose, but the actual count of that activity was not reported.

We learn from MN that vehicles, like guns, are just tools. We have distinguished ourselves as humans with the variety of tools we have invented. All tools currently devised are designed to be useful in some need we express, mostly for our efficiency of work, but also of play, and even for the sheer pleasure of relaxation. Tools assist in these endeavors. Another feature of tools is that no tool is functional on its own. Even an automated tool needs to be turned on and turned off, either by human hand or gesture [like a clap to turn on a light], which, for some tools, can even be taught to other animals, or still other tools to automate that on/off function. That is descriptive of every tool in existence, as far as I know. Therefore, a gun is just a tool, and in that instance, is useless and harmless unless taken in hand with a brain to use for its purpose: to fire a projectile at a target. Even a human target, if that is what we obtain the tool to accomplish. By the same logic, a vehicle is also a tool, for all the same reasons. Thus, as it is beginning to be realized, Mayor Frey and Gov. Wall, notwithstanding, Ms. Good used her car as a tool aimed at another person [iif one sees all the videos that have so far been available to watch, whether the media is inclined to express them or not]. They, fortunately, are not the sole source we depend on...

The mirror is the worst household feature because it is nothing but a counterfeit of everything that is. In it, my left-side face is the mirror reflection's right. I see nothing else in a mirror but what is behind me, and otherwise, out of mind. That which is behind me is past, not present or future, and is, as well, the opposing side of everything behind in reality. The mirror has no peripheral vision, as I do. Even if I place a mirror on an opposing wall to my original mirror, I still have no expanded peripheral vision, but only a near-infinate, repeated reflection limited to the mirrors' relative sizes. It is a counterfeit I must purchase with real currency; nothing for something.

As a political conservative, I still have a 39-panel solar array on my roof since 2016; ten years ago as of this coming June. Yes, my energy costs are less then they would have been now, and those savings began the moment my panels were engaged.

However, I am not dillusional about those panels. I am still on the electrical and natural gas grid simply because the panels are useless at night, and have been every night over those ten years; useless whenever the sky is overcast, and useless because they do not supply any energy to my furnace nor kitchen cook top.

Thus my question: How is green energy "renewable" anymore than oil is, because my truck, and my wife's car, can function 24/7, and have for much longer than the solar panel installation, and they continue to be a readily available energy source 24/7 because their energy and lubrication supply is naturally available in the past, present, and for the foreseeable future, therefore RENEWABLE because the natural Earth process producing it did not ever shut off as greenies stupidly, but patently incorrectly claim. Who or what shut it off, since the product did not stop being produced with the death of dinosaurs, living organisms, the nature of which did not die with them? Anyone?

Debate is a structured conversation wherein two opposing positions are held, generally pro and con of a stated resolve. The Burden of Proof [BoP] exists on both sides of the Resolve, in favor of, and opposed to the stated Resolve. Proof, being the burden, must provide evidence of the stated BoP. It will not suffice to merely use the Resolve as a claim as if it is obvious without evidence that it is either true or false. The Resolve cannot be assumed to be proven merely by its claim. Which ever opposing side that is judged more complete in its supporting evidence of the BoP is generally the winner of the debate, and generally requires the unbiased judgment of each voter.

The over-population of Earth, in modern time, was first proposed late in the 18th century [1798] by English clergyman and economist, Thomas Robert Malthus. That's like asking a plumber for legal advice, or vice versa. Point is, he's not educated in the field of his claim. And still, all 8B of us could be accommodated with 1.5 acres, each, just on the total segment of landmass that is agricultural [38%] and arable [idle agricultural land - 11%], 49% total. leaving all urban, meadow, arctic, desert, and mountain landmass [51%] totally unpopulated. We are not overpopulated, we are poor land managers.

Peak oil [a predicted maximum availability of oil worldwide] was predicted in 50s by M. King Hubbard, a geologist [at least in the right educated field] to occur in the mid-70s. It didn't happen, and has yet to happen even 50 years later. He assumed [as is still assumed] that petroleum crude is a finite resource that will eventually be depleted. Who says? By what measurement? The resource is organic life - animal and plant, gone to ground by death. Being organically supplied, why should the resource be finite? Who or what will be responsible for ending the natural process of petroleum crude production, since the material supply will endure as long as life in abundance occurs on Earth, and dies? And who has measured the production time? We guess millions of years, but who measured, and with what measurement tool? We do not actually have an empirically derived answer of product manufacturing time. Further, tell me what other naturally occurring process has just quit as petroleum crude has allegedly quit? Water? Air? Nope. Anything else? Nope.

There are several passages in the Holy Bible that say it is dependable as scripture, that it contains the path of righteous living to attain the presence for God, but that it is void of error is never claimed absolutely. There's good reason: I'll argue all day long that it is inspired, but I also claim the US Constitution is an inspired document. But God did not write it, and, by my reading, and I have read the Holy Bible cover to cover numerous times, it never claims God wrote the words. Inspiration is not written as its form that enter's man's mind. Its entry is by reading the words, but who wrote the words? Men and women did; all of it, cover to cover. Anything man does is imperfect until he, himself, becomes perfect in all respects. We're not there, yet. So, anything we do, ever have done, or ever will do until the day of perfection is blessed upon us, is flawed to some degree. That's why the Bible also says we are to go to God in prayer to inquire about the things we read therein, and thus receive personal revelation of what is, and is not correct principle.

Just one of the problems: The Bible, as we know it today, has been subject to translation from "original" languages [Hebrew and Greek] for 1600 years, at least. Translation has several issues: No language has the exact, word-for-word lexicon of another language. One example: "love" in English, is 7 different words in Greek. Many words share this problem, and who is to know if translators are sufficiently fluent in both languages to know how translation its best accomplished to reflect both language and cultural differences correctly?

Another problem: "the Bible" did not exist in antiquity, The "books" were separate documents, not a cohesive collection. A work that may still, 1600 years later, be in progress.

So, where do we get off claiming the Bible's "infallibility?"

The solar system, including Earth, is not sitting in an empty vacuum of space. We are made up of space, but also a star, planets, moons, asteroids, meteorites, comets, and cosmic dust. All this stuff is both organic and inorganic. As a result, we, Earth, reside in a soup de jour of elements that are depositing on Earth from space, and ejected from Earth into space. Therefore, in reality, of the elements constantly entering into Earth's atmosphere, much of it eventually falls on Earth, continuously supplying us with the elements that make up our organic and inorganic materials, which is why there is really no such thing as finite resources, organic, or inorganic. Get it?

Kammie, even trying to be serious, just doesn't. cannot, and will not ever, as long as she holds this attitude, get it right. This is a core attitude, not one of those ethereal "someday I'll achieve" attitudes, learned from childhood, if parents are, themselves, able to teach it.

Humility is a vital attitude. It must be learned and practiced. But, one of the difficulties of humility, and the one factor that makes it so difficult to achieve, and maintain, [I have not, but at least I've learned the principle] is that as soon as one claims humility, they are no longer. It cannot be a matter off personal pride of achievement, whether stated, or even felt, for the claim is assurance that humility has fled. We are either humble, or we are not. Not a variable attitude. My friend, Satan Lucy, claims words do not have root words from which they derive. I present the Oxford English Dictionary with evidence of root words from which other words derive due to the OED's long standing tradition of providing the etymology of virtually every word in the lexicon of the English language. These are otherwise known as root words: according to the OED, "...etymology is a feature of the [OED} dictionary and historical tracing of a word's root words and their evolution."

Most dictionaries do not include this exhaustive study; thus, the OED, in. print, is 20 volumes using a 6-point font -- occupying about 2 linear feet on my library shelf -- not a single volume as is virtually every other English dictionary in existence. As a result, a word as simple as "salt" occupies 18 column inches to fully define and apply etymology.

For thousands of years, we have buried our dead in boxes and tombs, denying the Earth of use of our useless dead bodies as a natural resource the Earth can use. Why?

Eliminate "fossil fuel" you eliminate plastic, because no one has yet invented AlGoreGooeyJuice. Oops.

The president does not appoint Supremes, they are nominated, only. It is the Senate which makes the appointments. Consider that over the same history, 23% of S.C. nominees have failed to be approved by the Senate, so that piece of the puzzle is far more problematic to the Court's relative success than the common accusation that the Court is biased one way or another.

Consider that had Justice Ginsberg survived to see the Dobbs v Jackson Women's Health 2022 case, she would have likely sided with the majority to overturn Roe. She stated in public several times in her later years that she thought Roe was a flawed decision.
