7 votes to lynch

Lynch is plurality with majority (hammering enabled). If no majority is achieved, the player with the highest number of votes on them at EoD gets lynched. Ties resolved by RNG.
Every player in the game may submit a last will to me. This is a message that will be displayed upon your death and can include any arbitrary text, pictures, etc.
Due to roles like Disguiser and Rogue Ty’iga, which can interfere with normal death mechanics, dead players are strongly discouraged from communicating with other dead players, even if in normal games it would usually not be an issue.
Do not post on any account other than the account I PM’d you details for, in the game thread. Please do not use this account anywhere other than the game thread, either.
Do not reveal your identity, hint at others’ identity behind the anon account, or post who you think they are.
I will be somewhat lenient with accidental slip-ups since I think anon games aren’t common on DC, but intentional rule breaks are a no go.
Usual rules otherwise.

Description: You are a minor regent for the Kingdom of Amber, serving in the main regent’s stead when they are unable to govern.
You were forced into hiding by the threat of assassination, using your contacts and connections to covertly organize a response against the Chaos infiltrators.
Ability: Post one message, anonymously, at the start of the following day. You may not reveal your identity in this post.
Description: You are a noble Amberite in charge of a wing of the castle dungeon, discreetly detaining suspects and gathering information on behalf of the Crown.
Ability: Pick a target during the DAY to jail. They will be removed from all chats for that night, be roleblocked, and become immune to all night attacks. You gain a one-night anonymous night chat with your captive.
Once per game, you may optionally execute your captive, killing them.
Jailing is a perfect roleblock, meaning that it roleblocks roles that are normally immune to roleblock.
Description: You are an Amberite handpicked to lead a section of the Royal Guard. After the conspiracy was uncovered, you went into hiding along with the rest of your men. You now wait to strike at the enemy from the shadows.
Ability: Send your men to a player’s house at night, attacking them. You may do this once per game.
Description: You are a prince of Amber skilled in medical matters, handpicked to assist the castle’s surgeons in performing autopsies and determining causes of death.
Ability: Check a dead player at night. You will find out their role and alignment, and their last will.
Special Mechanics: If you check a player’s whose last will was altered by a Traitor, you will discover the altered last will, not the original.
If you check a player’s whose last will was switched by a Disguiser, you DO find the original last will.
Description: A chemical expert, using his expertise to assist the Crown.
Ability: Spike a player’s drink at night. They will be roleblocked.
Special Mechanics: You cannot be roleblocked. Your target will be informed they were roleblocked.
Description: You are skilled in the usage of the Trumps - tarot cards that can be used to mentally communicate with others from anywhere in the multiverse.
Unbeknownst to most but a select few, it is possible to use the Trumps to spy on targets, passively feeling the connection and allowing the target’s thoughts to enter your mind, thereby reading their mind.
Ability: Once per game, check a player’s exact role and alignment. You detect Third Party roles as being Town Amberites.
You are a prince of Amber, loyal to the Kingdom.
Ability: You have the power to vote.

You will gain a permanent anonymous night chat with your Liege. Once per game, you may save them from a lynch or a night kill.
Win Condition: Your liege must survive to the end. You do not care who wins, and you don’t have to be alive at the end of the game.
If your liege dies, you become a Jester, and will have to be lynched during the day to win.

Ability: After you die, possess a player during the day. You temporarily take over their account and are able to vote and post from it, but you do not know their role, alignment, or any of their feedback.
Win Condition: You must die; the faction that killed you must then lose. For lynches, this is defined as the faction of the hammer voter.

Mechanics: On night 0, receive a random target from the host. You and your target must be the last men standing.
Ability: You may choose to torment your target by jailing them (ability has to be used during the day, and then gets executed at night), or by sending them an anonymous message through the host at night.
If your target dies at night, your new target will become the one who killed them; you will be informed of who the killer is. If your target gets lynched during the day, your new target will be the hammer voter.

Ok. I think I have 13 players. If this is the case the game will start tomorrow night, so in roughly 24 hours. Otherwise it will start 24 hours from when I get at least 13 players

Yeah. Game will start after the current game ends. I will need an extra player though.
Currently working on the wording of the scum and third party rolecards. But as a general gist, the roles are as follows -
Godfather - Has the final say on the Mafia’s night actions. Is NOT immune to detection. Inherits the killing abilities of one of the scum when they’re the last Mafia alive, along with one charge.
Kidnapper - Picks a target during the day to jail, jailed person is night immune, has anon night chat with the Kidnapper. Removed from all other night chats and is roleblocked. Can optionally execute captive once per game.
Blackmailer - Blackmails a person into executing a demand on the pain of death the following day. Ability is disabled after it has successfully killed someone. Some restrictions on what can be demanded.
Disguiser - Kills someone and disguises themselves as them. Swaps accounts with the player and their own account flips, with the role of the target. One charge.
Roleblocker - The usual but has only two charges, and cannot be roleblocked. Gives feedback to the roleblocked player.
Janitor - One charge. Works on lynches and night kills.
I was going to add a Ventriloquist role, that would be able to temporarily speak from another player’s account for one day. But it is… underwhelming. Either too strong because they can also vote with that account (effectively killing TWO town for one day), or a more complex Silencer since people can tell who is Ventriloquisted because the vented player cannot vote.
Traitor - Lost wolf, knows identity of one scum, scum doesnt know their identity, can read a player’s last will and modify it twice per game (more on last wills later).
Third Party -
Gunsmith - Makes a one use gun, must give it to another player. Wins on odd nights with Mafia, even nights with Town.
Associate - Picks a target during N0. Gains permanent anonynmous night chat with the target. Can protect target from lynch and nightkills once per game. Wincon is for the target to survive to the end. If the target dies, becomes a Jester.
Executioner - Pretty self explanatory really. If target dies, becomes a Jester. Target is guaranteed not to be a Regent.
Tormentor - …. A rather complicated serial killer whose ability mirrors that of the kidnapper. Gets a random target on N0. Wincon is for nobody other than themselves and their target to be alive.
Ghost - A role that cannot win whilst alive. Must die first. Afterwards, the faction that killed them (for lynch purposes defined as the faction of the hammer voter) must lose. Gains the ability to take control of a player’s account after death, for one day. Can post and vote from that account but otherwise knows nothing about the target, e.g. role, feedback or night actions.

Didn’t say no thought of self preservation. I said Town cares less about self preservation because they can afford to care less, and they’re not the ones being hunted.
Magoroth · 6 months ago
I’m not saying people don’t fake claim ss scum, and obviously it depends on context, but I had very little reason to do what I did as scum. The only reason is some dumb ploy to get townread, but you can say that about pretty much every action in the game.
Magoroth · 6 months ago
You don’t get it. As Town you can do dumb shit and get lynched. Whatever. Why would scum do dumb shit that gets them lynched? They do not want to be lynched. It’s specifically something they avoid.
as town though? You’re not super focused on self-preservation, you care about finding scum. So, yes, a dude who does something dumb and gets himself lynched is probably Town.
Magoroth · 6 months ago
I wasn’t mislynched though. And i wasn’t playing that bonkers. Nobody explained why someone would claim SURVIVOR, of all things, as Mafia.
Survivor is in itself a scummy claim. To claim it unprompted without even knowing if there is a Survivor or not is just dumb. ‘Cause it leaves you vulnerable to a surprise CC from beyond.

Well, Thoth seems to want to Lynch me. It’s basically just me and you here, Shining and Thoth have posted a grand total of three times. I wish this game would just end lmao.
Magoroth · 6 months ago
Feels like Lunatic wants to hammer me but is letting Thoth decide cause he doesnt want to be the one to do it. I think he really doesn’t want there to be “bad blood” between us or something so hes looking for an out where he gets me voted but doesnt do it himself.
Magoroth · 6 months ago
So, Shining what do you say we rebel and kill Thoth instead of accepting the premise that one of the two of us has to die today?
