Not sure with who, because it was hard enough to hit 9 players as is, and for reasons I cannot discuss I cannot replace dead players into this game. I will ping him again though.

Thoth: You are the Facehugger, from all the movie franchises and the T.V. Show, a parasitic creature that latches onto the faces of your victims and implants an embryo down its victims throat that will later burst from your victims chest and evolve into a fully fledged xenomorph. While you are on your victims face, they are generally incapacitated temporarily. A xenomorph will not attack someone who is impregnated by face hugger, buying the victim of this unfortunate event slightly more time than usual. You are the apportioner. If the player you target would normally die that night, their death will be extended to the following night instead. You win with the town.

Casey_Risk- You are Dr. Mason Wren, from "Alien: Resurrection". You are the head scientist onboard the Auriga. You are viewed as particularly immoral even among the scientists of United Military Systems. You take sadistic pleasure in your work. After 10 years, you succeeded in your goal of cloning Ellen Ripley, who would incubate a Xenomorph Queen. You used the newborn Queen to produce more Xenomorphs and betrayed everyone when they got loose. Though you didn't survive in the end, you are remembered for your efforts to convert fellow humans into fodder to recreate the Xenomorph species. You are thus the 1x Yakuza. On any night, you can choose to target a player and sacrifice yourself in order to convert that player to the mafia team. This can only be done in place of the mafia faction night kill. You win with the mafia.

Welcome to Alien mafia! This game will follow all canon material of the Alien movies including Alien 1-3, resurrection, Prometheus, covenant, and alien earth. Alien vs predator is not technically canon and therefore not included. There is a theme split, it’s probably one of my more challenging theme splits though, it it gets figured out I will be pleasantly surprised. Mafia know the theme split but I have not given them fake claims since there is so many available characters across the many movies and shows included in this theme. As usual I won’t answer questions publicly and only about your own role or flipped roles, otherwise I won’t answer about hypothetical roles. Since I am starting this late at night I won’t start the day phase timer until tomorrow at 10am est to give every one a chance to read their pms and post. I will warn in advance that this is a swingy game. I could see an argument for both sides being over powered. Let’s see how this plays out. Good luck and have fun!

1. Why is it bad for a doctor to waive NP1? I know people scumread it but why. What i looked up seemed to indicate doctors should play conservatively.

by playing conservatively I’m sure it means not outright claiming to give away your role. Generally doctors are kind of town confirmed you weren’t in this one mainly due to dreamer results.

but if you have an every night role you should use it, even if you think your wrong. In the off chance you protect correctly and stop the night kill you 1. Have a high chance at catching scum if there was a watcher or tracker who also saw the visit, 2 extend the game for town if you correctly protect a kill, basically making up for a mislynch. Mafia getting a kill protected against is usually devastating to them.

2. Why didn't anyone ask Lunatic if he was a 1x or 2x dreamer? RT even used his Asceticizer on Lunatic NP2, I assume to protect him if he had a second dream to spend? 

rex did ask, I think a lot of people just glossed over it and my subsequent answer.

I thought my DP4 arguments concerning Thoth's read of a Magic self-visit would persuade you. Why didn't they and what could I have done to make them more persuasive

the mharman self visit was a big reason I saw Thoth as town. And it was like the main reason I lynched mharman in the first place. I chalked up the self visit to pie having odd mechanics about how roles and visits work, but generally understood that mafia tend to self visit more than town. Mharmans excuse for showing up on a mirror maker was so absurd that it kind of town confirmed Thoth to me, and if there was a bus going on it looked more to me like he was trying to bus you then Thoth.

I would have slept on it at least.

i work nights. All that would have resulted in is me talking to myself and probably just seeing the same conclusion anyway. I had already done a lot of considering about my decision in the night phase previous. My schedule sucks so I am sleeping during a lot of the times people are awake and discussing anyways, and I’m up and active when yall are dead to the world. I wanted to ge my decision in before pie went to bed so I wouldn’t stall the game another 24 hours based on sleep schedules. Unfortunately I don’t see myself making another choice no matter how long I had waited. Thoth was town confirmed to me since his np1 result and the confusion around mharmans self visit was 90% of the reason I even voted mharman in the first place.

I focused on a ton of details. That they were the wrong ones or that there was things I don’t know about shows that I am part of an uninformed majority. Spent hours going over logic so I definitely didn’t rush. I had my mind made up since dp3 about wryly so waiting arbitrarily wouldn’t have done much.

basicslly speculation on why I was the night kill instead of Rex, I had figured that Rex would have been killed last night and even mentioned it to pie but I was hoping it would have been me because Rex was technically more confirmed than me. It ended up not even being an issue no one tried to spin me as scum in the end really.
